Hi IvyRose , can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Hey friends! I’m IvyRose, owner of Twisted Ivy Boutique.
I started my boutique journey when I was just 17 (during Covid!) after buying a little storefront in my hometown. Six months later, it grew into Twisted Ivy Boutique—a fun mix of women’s clothing, accessories, kids’ items, formalwear, and more.
After getting married, moving an hour away, and welcoming two wild little boys into our lives, I made the tough decision to close my storefront to focus more on family. But I couldn’t give up on this dream completely!
Now I’m running Twisted Ivy online as a faith-based boutique, where I get to share my love for Jesus and help women feel beautiful inside and out.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. I’ve faced my fair share of challenges—learning curves, tough decisions, and moments of doubt—but each obstacle has shaped me into who I am today. Running a business, especially at a young age, taught me resilience, patience, and faith. Things haven’t always gone as planned, but I’m beyond grateful for the lessons I’ve learned along the way and for the strength God has given me through it all. I truly believe every step, even the hard ones, has been part of His plan.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m really proud of how far I’ve come in finding my groove and figuring out exactly what I want to share through my boutique. Lately, my best sellers have been our Spiral Bibles, devotionals, and faith-based merch. I love curating unique pieces for the shop — from simple jewelry to beautiful Bibles.
Right now, I’m working on adding handmade Bible covers to the mix for a fun, personalized touch. As a busy stay-at-home mom, social media manager for two local pregnancy resource centers, and helper on our family cattle ranch, life can get a little hectic!
Twisted Ivy may not be something I work on every single day, but it’s something that never really feels like work. It’s my creative outlet — a little piece of joy that I get to pour myself into.
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
The quality that’s been most important to my success is determination. Running a small business while balancing motherhood, work, and ranch life takes focus and grit. Even when things get busy or overwhelming, I’ve learned to keep pushing forward, adapt, and never lose sight of why I started. I’m also incredibly grateful for the people who have supported me along the way — my family, friends, and of course my costumers. Their encouragement means the world to me, and I truly couldn’t do it without them.
