Conversations with Angela Glaspie

Today we’d like to introduce you to Angela Glaspie.

Hi Angela, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
The word of God spoke to me, I knew God was calling me into the ministry. This feeling wouldn’t go away. I always sat back and said” wow I wish I could change this and change that in the world but didn’t know how. I never really knew how I could make time for anything, to change the world or my community around me. I have always helped those around me, but I wanted to help on a wider scale. Global all over the world. As I begin to step out in faith, God would lead me to start speaking and not just saying anything but to speak and to encourage people. More people begin to listen, and I started encouraging more people and more. Then a vison came to me to move into a building. It holds about 24 people in St. Paul Minnesota. I would then begin to start a child ministry. Children are our future, and we must look out for the next generation. I have such a bigger vision; I want to do so much for not just the community but for our world. If we start somewhere with everything that is going on we can make a difference in the world. I now speak to thousands of people. To speak life and let them know that they are someone in this world and God loves them. My faith in God is what gives me the strength.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, it hasn’t been an easy road, the more you begin to tap into your purpose challenges do come, but the tests and trials make you stronger. What I have learned is that trials come to prepare you for what’s next. You can’t go to the next level of life unless you learn to endure the level you came from, because life can get harder, but guess what you will be prepared. Life has a way of preparing us for what’s next in life. At times it can be quite painful and hard to endure. I know for sure if it wasn’t for some of those painful situations I would have failed and quit by now. The hand of God has been my rock. My purpose is to help change the world and to help people find their purpose. I want to always stay obedient to my purpose and my calling in life.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a Pastor at ReNew Life Ministry Church and a life coach, A Mentor, A Role model, A speaker, I help with broken marriages, broken homes, abused children, abused woman. hurting people all over the world. If I am able to make and leave an impact on as many people as possible after I am gone, that’s would make me so proud. I cant rejoice right now in the state of what is going on right now in our world. My reward comes later in life. What sets me apart is God has given me a specific assignment in life that is only designed for me and I am the only one who can walk the path that was laid out for me. My purpose my calling. that’s what set me apart.

How do you define success?
Success to me is defined by being able to impact people around me and to change lives for the better. Being able to give my children and their children things that will last forever (Wisdom). Being able to help the next generation, to help them overcome their obstacles in life and to make an impact on the next generation. Success to me is knowing my purpose in life. Finding my purpose through my faith in Jesus Christ. Leaving an impact after I am long gone that will last forever. Success is being wealthy, not rich. Wealth lasts for generations and you can share it throughout the world with so many people. That’s how I define success.
