Hi Justin, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My journey in real estate started nearly 20 years ago, but the launch of Justin Tolle Real Estate last October marked a major new chapter. For years, I balanced my passion for real estate with other professional roles, always coming back to what I loved most – building relationships and helping people navigate one of life’s biggest decisions with confidence and trust.
In 2024, I decided it was time to go all in. I launched my own brand under NOW Realty with a clear mission: to provide an authentic, relationship-first real estate experience that goes well beyond the transaction. I wanted clients to feel supported, informed, and valued long after closing day – not just another sale in the books.
From the start, I focused on being approachable, transparent, and high-touch, leveraging social media to educate, connect, and show the human side of real estate. Whether I’m working with first-time buyers, lakeshore dreamers, or seasoned homeowners in the Twin Cities area, my goal remains the same – to earn trust, provide value, and build relationships that last well beyond the keys changing hands.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a perfectly smooth road, but that’s where the growth has happened. When I first launched Justin Tolle Real Estate, I was laser-focused on all the surface details – making sure my logo was perfect, the marketing looked just right, and every piece had a polished finish. My background in marketing helped in some ways, but it also became a challenge because I was overthinking the aesthetics instead of the why.
Over time, I realized it’s not about the logo – it’s about what the logo stands for. It represents trust, relationships, and the responsibility that comes with helping someone through a major life transition.
This first year has been incredible. I’ve been fortunate to help so many wonderful people buy and sell homes, and with each 5-star review, it reinforces why I truly love what I do – helping people problem-solve, navigate change, and build relationships that last well beyond the transaction. At the time of this interview, I’m honored to be ranked 5th in all of Hennepin County for client reviews on Rate My Agent, a platform that publicly shares what it’s like to work with Realtors. That recognition means a lot because it reflects exactly what I set out to do: earn trust, deliver genuine value, and make a lasting impact on the people I serve.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
My business is Justin Tolle Real Estate powered by NOW Realty, serving the Twin Cities metro and surrounding areas. I help people buy and sell homes with a relationship-first approach built on trust, transparency, and long-term connection.
I specialize in residential real estate, primarily in the West and Northwest Twin Cities, but I also have a unique focus on lakeshore properties – particularly in the Brainerd Lakes area and across northern Minnesota. Many families who primarily live in the Twin Cities have dreamed of finding their own lakeshore getaway, and I love helping make that dream a reality.
What sets me apart is the combination of marketing expertise and genuine client focus. Every listing gets professional-level exposure, from drone photography and social media to strategic paid campaigns – but at the heart of what I do is helping people navigate one of life’s biggest transitions with confidence and ease.
I’m most proud that my brand represents trust. My tagline: “With a focus on relationships, I’ll be there for you well beyond the transaction.” This reflects how I operate every day. Working with me means having a partner committed to your goals, your timeline, and your peace of mind.
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
One of the biggest pieces of advice I’d give to anyone starting out is to focus on what truly matters: the people you’re serving and the value you bring them. When I first launched Justin Tolle Real Estate, it was easy to get caught up in the small details, but I quickly realized it’s not about the aesthetics – it’s about building relationships and providing meaningful solutions. When you genuinely have your clients’ best interests in mind, even if that means talking them out of a decision, the trust you earn lasts a lifetime.
Being active and involved in the community has also been invaluable. I’m a proud member of the I-94 Chamber of Commerce, where I’ve met so many inspiring entrepreneurs. I also live by the principle of giving back whenever possible. I love to make connections and help others without expecting anything in return. In more ways than I can imagine, this has been incredibly rewarding and has strengthened my network while helping others succeed.
