Inspiring Conversations with Alexa Rapp of Wellness Wave

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexa Rapp.

Hi Alexa, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I was desperately ill in my early 20’s and used colonics to recover. After experiencing a full body detox along with the mental reset this process instigates I was fully onboard. I was lucky enough to be offered an internship with a lady that had been doing colonics for over 30 years. In that internship I learned that people are so different in their detoxing needs. Some people resistant and others willing to totally give into the process. In this day and age we cannot rely on only drugs and surgery to heal our bodies. I learned about chemicals and preservatives in food along with environmental toxins, things we put on our skin even our mental stress and state and how this affects us. My mission is to pass on this knowledge to those who are open to it. Colonics have been around since ancient Egyptian days so to me that says something.

I moved to New Zealand in my early 30s where I learned about ozone therapy. Man this took colonics to a whole next level. Ozone in the stream sauna and ozone in the colon really helping the body get rid of those dead and dying cells. I am currently the only practioner using ozone this way in Minnesota. While in New Zealand I became a citizen and stayed for 15 years.

All in all I have been practicing for 20 years now. I see this therapy helping people everyday and feel it is my purpose to help people in this way.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
In New Zealand there was only 2 other practitioners in the whole country. I had to create a habit and get people interested in the therapy. While there I did news interviews, magazine articles, talks at local groups and gyms, even a radio show. I really had to start from ground zero. When I left I sold my clinic to an indigenous person of New Zealand. I also invented a fiber supplement while there as the person who sponsored me for immigration had a supplement lab that I worked in until my clientele built up. I sell that supplement in my clinic now.

We’ve been impressed with Wellness Wave , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I do colon hydrotherapy and ozone therapy. I also invented a fiber supplement called DETOXAFIBER. I am the only colon Hydrotherapist in Minnesota doing ozone in the colonic process

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
Not to try to sell the therapy to a person who is unwilling to listen. Must be ready for this therapy.

Pricing:

  • Colonic $120 per session
  • Ozone sauna $75 per session
