Today we’d like to introduce you to Grace Wendels.
Hi Grace, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I grew up playing sports my entire life and went on to play collegiate soccer at UW–Stevens Point, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Health Promotion and Wellness and a minor in Spanish. During my sophomore year, I broke my leg, cutting my season short. While recovering, I began experiencing aches and pains throughout my body — until I started seeing a chiropractor weekly. Through consistent care, I learned how soft tissue work and adjustments to the areas surrounding my injury helped me heal faster and return to the field pain-free.
What stood out most wasn’t just the physical improvement, but the experience itself — I felt truly listened to and cared for. My chiropractor took the time to look at my whole body and understand every ache and imbalance. That experience changed my life. I knew then that I wanted to help others feel the same way — empowered, understood, and in control of their health.
I went on to graduate from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa in June 2025, where I served as President of the Sports Chiropractic Club, attended numerous seminars, and completed advanced soft tissue electives. Those years shaped the foundation for the type of doctor I wanted to become — one known for compassion, connection, and comprehensive care.
After graduating, I brought that vision to life by opening Blooming Wellness Chiropractic, a space built on the belief that patients deserve to feel heard from the moment they walk through the door. My care focuses on the whole body each visit, helping patients get back to doing what they love.
Every treatment includes any or all of the following: full spine and extremity adjustments, hands-on trigger point release work, cupping, instrument-assisted soft tissue techniques, and sports rehab or corrective exercises — giving each patient complete care in one visit. With no hidden fees or add-on prices, patients receive full-body, personalized care every time, tailored to their needs and goals.
At Blooming Wellness Chiropractic, my mission is simple: to help you feel your best — inside and out — and empower you to keep doing the things you love.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road — but honestly, that’s what makes the journey so meaningful. After graduating from UW–Stevens Point, I faced my own set of physical challenges during chiropractic school. Not long after beginning my clinical rotations, I needed hip surgery. Physically and mentally, it forced me to slow down, refocus, and find new ways to heal — both in my personal wellness journey and in how I could continue helping others with theirs.
Through consistent goal setting and relearning how to rebuild my strength, I grew tremendously — not just as a person, but as a better doctor. My determination to return to helping patients became my biggest motivator. I poured myself into my own rehab and deepened my understanding of post-surgical recovery, scar tissue work, and extremity adjustments. That dedication paid off — I was back to treating patients sooner than expected, and just one year after surgery, I completed my first full marathon.
Starting my own chiropractic business was the biggest leap I’ve ever taken. Moving from Wisconsin to Minnesota — away from everything familiar — was intimidating at first, but I quickly found a sense of community. Within a month of moving, I began coaching youth soccer with Tonka United and connecting with incredible people who made this new place feel like home.
Owning a business comes with challenges every day, but I don’t view them as setbacks — they’re opportunities to learn, grow, and refine the care I provide. Each hurdle has reminded me why I took this leap in the first place: to create a space where people feel heard, cared for, and empowered to take control of their health. Every bump in the road has been worth it.
As you know, we’re big fans of Blooming Wellness Chiropractic. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Blooming Wellness Chiropractic was created with one simple purpose: to give people a space where they feel truly heard and cared for every single visit. I wanted to redefine what a chiropractic experience could look like — one that focuses on the whole body, not just one area of pain.
At Blooming Wellness Chiropractic, every appointment is individualized and intentionally longer, allowing me to address each patient’s specific needs from head to toe. My approach combines full spine and extremity adjustments, hands-on trigger point release, cupping, instrument-assisted soft tissue techniques, and sports rehab or corrective exercises — giving patients complete care in one visit without hidden fees or add-on prices.
What sets Blooming Wellness apart is the balance between clinical precision and a calm, welcoming environment. Each treatment is designed not only to help patients move and feel better, but also to help them reconnect with their bodies and understand the “why” behind their discomfort. I’m most proud that the clinic reflects both my journey and my values — it’s a place built on connection, trust, and empowerment.
I’ve always believed that true wellness begins when people feel listened to. That’s the foundation of everything I do. Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing everyday tension, or striving to move more freely, my goal is to help you get back to doing what you love — and to feel your best while doing it.

Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
I’ve always believed in just reaching out — my personal motto is “send that email.” Whether it’s an email or a message you’re debating on sending, do it. Reach out to the person you want to learn from, ask the questions you’ve been thinking about, or simply introduce yourself. The worst that can happen is you don’t get a reply — but the best-case scenario is that you make a connection that could change everything.
Now, as a business owner, networking has become less about “building contacts” and more about building community. Coaching youth soccer and connecting with my local area has introduced me to amazing people who’ve supported both me and Blooming Wellness Chiropractic. When you lead with passion and authenticity, the right mentors and connections always follow.
My biggest advice is to be curious, intentional, and unafraid to reach out. Some of the best connections I’ve made came from simply asking questions, showing up to seminars, and being open to learning from anyone — whether they’re a seasoned doctor or a fellow student.
