Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Growing up, my parents enjoyed showing my brother and I the world. We traveled a lot and always made it a point to be immersed in other cultures, try different foods, and learn the local history wherever we went.
This sparked a lifelong love of travel. I love talking to others about where they’ve been, seeing their pictures, and offering my suggestions on other places they might like based on their feedback. I get so much joy hearing others grow to love what I have loved my whole life!
I have always been the go-to person in my circle to ask about traveling. Unofficially I had been advising and booking family and friends for over 20 years before deciding to make the leap to do it as a career.
I went through some rigorous training and got certified to become a full-service travel advisor so I could turn my hobby into something more fulfilling.
Now I help clients discover their ideal destinations, learn about new experiences, and find joy all around the world!
From white sand Caribbean beaches, to Alaskan cruises, to multi-country European adventures, to African safaris, I can put together the trip of your dreams!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There have been some struggles. It’s not always easy to please clients who have specific expectations.
Some people have never traveled outside their city and have culture shock to see other places in the world so different from home. Some have children with allergies that need to be accomodated, which takes hours of research to find destinations that can accomodate them.
I always do my best to ask the right questions to find the perfect fit for an individual or family.

I’d like to thank first of all my parents for instilling this love of travel in me. Without their guidance growing up I may never have known the rest of the world was as beautiful and exciting as it is.
My husband encouraged me to branch out and start doing this as a career when he saw how much I loved doing it as a hobby. Without his support it would be just a pipe dream.
I learned from a mentor who has over 20 years experience in the industry, and she has encouraged me to never stop learning, to never stop finding new destinations and experiences for my clients.
