Today we’d like to introduce you to Deandre Willis.
Hi Deandre, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
From the westside of Chicago, been staying in Minnesota since 2016. I’m a father of a very unique future king “Zion” and I am an Israelite. I always had a passion for music but never knew the steps to take so I had to teach myself how to do everything to be honest. Been writing music since 2013 and also I have a book I’m working on that will be published so stay on the look out for that. I started to really take my music seriously March 2021 and the results have been extraordinary. I really hope I can keep an ear around because I have a lot of new and great music stored. We all know how Chicago is but I love my city, I just got more things in store for my life than what’s there. I started my own clothing line in November 2021, I always had the idea but I didn’t believe in myself.
Always do what’s best for you and put God first, everything else will fall in place. Stay strong and keep pushing. God was and still is my only hope, I won’t be me without God.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Challenges I had.
– Living on my own and raising myself
– Teaching myself to be a righteous man
– Falling away from this world and getting right with God
– Being a father
– Being a son
– Being a brother
– Listening
– Believing in myself
– Breaking a generational curse
