Meet Paityn Adams of Twin Cities

Today we’d like to introduce you to Paityn Adams.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
flo. was founded by two friends who shared a common vision , to help our community elevate and bring creative ideas to life. We started by connecting with small businesses in our area that needed creative marketing support while expressing our own goals as a new business. After countless conversations with like-minded individuals, flo. built meaningful connections and partnerships with other local businesses. Over time, we’ve become a helpful voice and resource for people looking to grow creatively. flo. is still learning and growing day by day, just like the people we work with. We’re figuring it out together, and that’s what makes it real and authentic.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
flo. has experienced both smooth and challenging moments along the way. Building a business from the ground up comes with its fair share of obstacles, from maintaining financial stability and managing time effectively to balancing energy and creativity. Additionally, while supplies in our field can be costly, it’s pushed us to think outside the box and find creative ways to bring our ideas to life. Despite these challenges, we make the most of what we have and continue to move forward, staying committed to bringing our clients’ visions into fruition.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I like to consider myself a multi-hyphenate. So, in terms of what I do, I’d say it’s anything that involves thinking outside the box and turning blurbs of words or ideas into visual stories. A lot of my work revolves around helping brands tell their stories through creative marketing, from managing social media pages to producing short-form content that captures their vision.

With that being said, I have a goal to expand these services and specialize in something deeper, for me, that’s art and creative direction. Not just any art or creative direction, but one that explores the psychological impact behind campaigns and film. It’s what we know as psychocinematics.

Recently, I graduated with my psychology degree, and through my education, I plan to apply what I’ve learned to create projects, both personal and collaborative that are rooted in the study of the mind. I want to understand how people think, feel, and respond, and use that knowledge to build visuals and stories that truly connect and resonate.

Outside of being known for my personal drive, I’m recognized for my versatility across different artistic mediums, from modeling and filming to other creative forms of expression I’ve explored along the way. I’m most proud of my commitment to being a scholar. One thing about me is that I love to learn. I’m proud of my discipline and determination to put myself in unfamiliar spaces, and of the courage it takes to keep trying new things because I know and believe I’m capable.

What sets me apart from others is that I don’t believe in limiting myself to one niche, my niche is my versatility. I find comfort in exploring different creative lanes and allowing each one to influence the other. That curiosity and openness are what make my work feel genuine and constantly evolving.

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
Something surprising that most people might not know about me is that I am a martial artist. For 17 years of my life, I was dedicated to TaeKwonDo, hardcore training day in and day out, sparring to the point of physical exhaustion. But see, that’s the beauty in it all. I learned what it truly means to maintain perseverance, to stay grounded under pressure, and to keep such an indomitable spirit.

This is what has built and shaped me into who I am today. As a Master and 4th Degree Black Belt, I had the opportunity to immerse myself in diverse environments, traveling around the world and bonding with an impressive group of teammates. I wholeheartedly believe that the discipline and soldier mentality I’ve built within myself has carried over into everything I do, from how I approach my craft to how I show up for others.
