Today we’d like to introduce you to Rhiannon Ebert.
Hi Rhiannon, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started social media when I was about 17. I started creating humor content on TikTok when it first started gaining popularity in 2018. I’ve grown to 22.5k since then and I post fashion, lifestyle, travel, and college humor content. I also post lifestyle, travel, and fashion content on Instagram. In my free time, I’m a girl scout leader with my mom and enjoy spending time outdoors and with friends.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
I’ve always been told to post more on TikTok by my friends but it’s hard to gain followers at times and sometimes if I don’t get that instant gratification I get bored of it. I also have a really busy life so I don’t always have time to content create, and when that’s the case the traction to your page grows to be less and less.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m mostly known for content creation, but I also love to paint, draw, photograph, write and just create in any way possible I can. I think I’m set apart from others because I’m not afraid of what others might think of me because of how authentically ‘me’ I am.
Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
I think the most important advice is to be true to yourself. When I first started posting on social media, I let people’s perceptions of me get to my head and I took a break from posting for a while. I think this was one of my biggest mistakes because I used to get thousands of likes and views on the first TikToks I ever posted and if I had just continued to post my account would have already grown way bigger than the following I have today.
