Meet Samantha Hosch of La Crosse, WI

Today we’d like to introduce you to Samantha Hosch.

Hi Samantha , can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I knew I didn’t want to go to college and I’ve always wanted to be a business owner. My parents are Debbie and Paul Hosch and actaully owned the Big Event Company in the early 2000s so naturally it’s in my blood

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Word of mouth has definitely been my best friend being that I’m so young and started off with such a small following on social media. I’m a little less than two years into owning it and when I look back I definitely am proud of how much I’ve grown the business in such a short time

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I work for an event company in La Crescent and love it there! Seeing the back end of events is so crazy being that usually I’m on the front end of decorating and planning the easy stuff. Eventually I hope to make my business my full time gig, but trying to do as much as I can while I’m young

Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
I rely on Pinterest for a lot of ideas, but I never want to copy so I just go there for ideas and curate my ideas off of what I see. My parents and fiance have also been my rock throughout this new process of owning a business. Without them I don’t think I would still be trying to grow and outreach
