What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?

We’ve been working on our publication and platform for almost a decade because we deeply believe that the world will be a far more empathetic and collaborative place if we all had the ability to know each other’s stories. The past decade has brought unimaginable challenges along the way, but we persevere because we believe this is mission worth never giving up on. We often are inspired by the folks we’ve featured and their commitment to their respective missions and so we asked some of them to talk to us about this very topic and have share some responses below.

One belief I’m deeply committed to, no matter how long it takes, is the power of art as a tool for understanding the human condition. To me, art is more than just creation. Being true to yourself. Especially in music. Now a days there are tons of people trying anything they can to “make it” or get more followers. In the short term it may get you more followers but those new followers are there for something that is not you. Read more>>

I truly believe that multi-generational living will continue to be a rising housing trend and it’s benefits go well beyond solutions to the housing crisis. I firmly believe that data that says families who choose to intentionally structure their lives and homes together have better mental health outcomes, better reported quality of life, and great longevity.
