Today we’d like to introduce you to Aisha Formanski.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
In 2013, I returned to Minnesota after spending a few years in California. I was starting over and decided to fully embrace my passion for jewelry making. I rented a cozy 10×14-foot studio in the Northeast Arts District of Minneapolis and began crafting pieces I was proud to wear.
I’m in business for two main reasons: I have an undeniable need to create with my hands, and I deeply value the personal connections I form with my clients. Every piece of jewelry is a tiny treasure, often marking a meaningful or challenging moment in someone’s life—and it’s a privilege to be part of that. My business thrives on these long-term relationships, and they’re what make me excited to walk into the studio every day. I’ve also just launched my fine jewelry line and reopened my books for custom design, so exciting things are ahead.
Aisha has been creating heirloom-quality jewelry and building lasting relationships with her clients for over 25 years. She founded Everthine in 2010 and continues to design from her studio in Northeast Minneapolis. Each piece she creates carries deep meaning, a touch of edge, and is made from the highest-quality natural materials.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Starting a jewelry business comes with its fair share of bumps in the road—unexpected expenses, slow sales, supply chain issues, and moments of self-doubt are all part of the journey. There were times when it felt easier to give up, but each challenge became a lesson in resilience, creativity, and adaptability. Those early struggles helped shape the business into what it is today: stronger, more focused, and rooted in purpose.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I design and handcraft meaningful, heirloom-quality jewelry using ethically sourced natural materials. I specialize in custom pieces that mark life’s most important moments—engagements, anniversaries, milestones, and sometimes even the bittersweet chapters. My work blends refined craftsmanship with a modern, slightly edgy aesthetic, and I’m known for pieces that feel deeply personal and timeless.
What I’m most proud of is the trust my clients place in me. Many have been with me for years, returning not just for jewelry, but for the connection, the shared stories, and the experience of creating something one-of-a-kind together. What sets me apart is that I don’t just make jewelry—I create wearable symbols of emotion, memory, and identity. Every piece is made with intention, and I care just as much about the person wearing it as I do the materials that go into it.
