Today we’d like to introduce you to Bre Vinkemeier.
Hi Bre, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I’ve always loved living in the moment and soaking in each one for what it is. Life is such a gift—especially when shared with others. That’s why I’m so passionate about capturing memories and preserving them for a lifetime. For the last five years, God has given me the incredible opportunity to do just that: to freeze moments in time for others to treasure forever. Whether it’s a wedding, engagement, graduation, welcoming a little one into the world, or a special event—I get to capture it all. And the truth is, I didn’t find this passion on my own. God placed it in me. Every step of the way, I get to walk this journey with Him and for Him, and that makes it all the more meaningful.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Starting out, everything comes with its challenges—but in those challenges, there’s growth. And how thankful I am for that! I truly believe that without the trials, I wouldn’t be where I am today.
One challenge I faced early on was being based in a small town in northern Minnesota. Not many people in the surrounding areas knew about my services at first. But that began to change when others started to share. I’m incredibly grateful for my little community—so supportive, so encouraging, and always cheering each other on. Word of mouth was what helped my name reach beyond my town, and I don’t take that for granted.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a photographer with a deep love for people—and I believe that love flows straight from God. Capturing engagements, weddings, couples, graduates, and families brings me so much joy. Each person has a story, and when multiple lives come together, that story becomes even richer and more beautiful.
My style is true to color and vibrant. I aim to reflect the realness, emotion, and beauty of every moment just as it is—full of life and light.
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I don’t believe in luck. I believe in hard work, faith, and the reality that life happens—and that’s the beauty of it. Every step of this journey has taken effort, prayer, and perseverance. And through it all, I’ve seen God’s hand at work in ways I never could have imagined.
