Today we’d like to introduce you to Brian Kelley.
Brian, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I am the father of 3 children who have all been stripped from me.
Two from death and one from custody litigation. I have chosen to focus on building and strengthening families through submitting to GOD by creating a ministry to serve families called All About Family. It has been operating for 18 years here in the Twin Cities.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No. The death of two children, divorce, and challenges trying to establish work that helps build and strengthen families.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Vocationally, I run a youth program that teaches kids about the design/building trades. I specialize in creating LEGO(R) Models and creative projects relative to history and architecture.
I am most proud of walking youth through career exploration and entrepreneurship training. The program is called Young Builders and Designers.
Any big plans?
I would like to open a for-profit business where teaching kids could be incorporated.
