We noticed a gap in the market for home decor that speaks directly to men, and we decided to fill that void with unique and stylish products.
Starting from humble beginnings, we focused on understanding the needs and preferences of our target audience. This led us to curate a collection of decor items that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also practical and versatile. Our commitment to quality and design has been the driving force behind our growth.
As we expand, we embraced digital platforms to reach a wider audience. Social media, in particular, played a crucial role in building our community and engaging with our customers. Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Running a small business like Boyhome has certainly been a rewarding journey, but it hasn’t always been smooth sailing. One of the main challenges we’ve faced is operating from a tiny apartment. Space constraints have made it difficult to manage inventory and streamline production processes. Every square inch has to be optimized to ensure efficiency, and this often requires a lot of creative thinking and adaptability.
Inventory management has also been a significant hurdle. Balancing stock levels to meet customer demand without overextending our limited space has been tricky. We’ve had to develop meticulous planning and organization skills to ensure that our products are always available when our customers need them.
Despite these challenges, the passion for what we do and the support from our community have kept us going. We’ve learned to embrace the constraints as opportunities for innovation and growth. Each obstacle has taught us valuable lessons and has made us more resilient as a brand.
Every step of the way, we’ve been driven by the desire to provide unique and stylish home decor that resonates with our customers. And while the road hasn’t always been easy, it’s been incredibly fulfilling
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I currently work as a Senior Hospitality Agent for Sonder, a tech forward hotel brand designed to creating a better place to stay for all. At Sonder, I create lasting first impressions for our guests, team members, and travel partners. I guide guests through our contactless check-in experience, handle special requests, resolve complaints, and assist with inquiries. I also support building leadership with administrative tasks and help the back-of-house team with quality audits, inventory checks, and minor maintenance.
I enjoy problem-solving skills and ensure every guest has a memorable stay. I thrive on delivering exceptional guest experiences and look forward to seeing where I go next in the hospitality industry.

For Boyhome, success is defined by the ability to create spaces that resonate with individuality and style, specifically tailored for men. It’s about transforming home decorating into a personal and meaningful experience. Success means seeing our products enhance the living environments of our customers, making them feel more at home and reflecting their unique tastes.
