Today we’d like to introduce you to Crystal Cavalier Nicholas Schizzano.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Crystal and Nicholas met in 2017 at an open music jam at what is formally known as The Spot in Fergus Falls. It was an instant knowing of familiarity.
From there it grew quickly. Within a few months they were on the road living in a Honda Pilot converted into a camper. Their road trip led them first to the North Shore, Madeline Island, and the Upper Peninsula, then down through Boulder Colorado, and finally they landed for 6 months in Sedona, Arizona.
To support their journey, they would stop along the way and play music anywhere they could find and busk, play music on the streets. They also did, and continue to do, online astrology readings for people they met on social media.
It was in Sedona, where Crystal began watching tutorial videos on how to wire-wrap crystals/stones. She had no idea that it would turn into a jewelry business.
After their winter stay in Sedona, they leisurely made their way up the West Coast to Washington to upgrade to a Sportsmobile/Poptop camper van that they had found on marketplace. The lady selling was willing to trade for their Honda Pilot. The sale just so happened to land on Crystal’s birthday, the gift was truly magical and fully appreciated!
After almost a year of living “on the road”, they finally landed back in Minnesota.
They continued the camper van lifestyle, even through a Minnesota winter! When asked if they would do that again, the answer is a resounding no. It was “doable”, but not comfortable.
At the end of that long winter, Crystal was sitting under a pine tree one early morning. With a light snow falling all around, she gave thanks for a small inheritance she had received.
Upon entering back into the warmth of the camper van, Nick in a half asleep mind sang, “Tell me something good.”
This is when Crystal, within moments of looking online, had found a piece of land just a few miles down the road from where her children lived that was in the budget!
The synchronicities were amazing!
So from there, they purchased the land and created an off-grid homestead and yurt cabin, where they live to this day. They did this little by little as they could with no debt. The “pay as you go” lifestyle gives them freedom to travel the world, while bringing their gift of music and star reading to those in the other countries.
They continue to build Crystal Clear Compass by adding new Wellness Products that they create and use daily.
They are consistently thinking of new ways to bring clarity to humanity.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
As with anything, there are always going to be challenges.
For Crystal and Nicholas it was creating a lifestyle where they could support themselves on just the income brought in by Crystal Clear Compass. From the beginning they’ve chosen to spend their time building their business, rather than working 9-5 jobs.
This hasn’t always been easy, since the income is always changing when you are self-employed. So keeping costs down, by living off-grid has been a key element in being able to support themselves.

Crystal & Nicholas are known for creating a business together as a conscious couple. They are here to bring clarity to humanity.
Their Sound Healing Baths have an immensely full sound due to multiple instruments being played. Crystal plays the Triple Barrel Native Flute, Drum, and Sings (like an angel), while Nick plays the Guitar and they both play the Tibetan Singing Bowls & Crystal Singing Bowls.
Crystal also loves performing for private events, including weddings, memorial services, and parties. She has a degree in Piano Performance & Voice and has been playing for 37 years!
She has a self-produced album “Reflections” that include a few original compositions, as well as some classical and romantic favorites.
Together they do Astrology Readings, so you get 4 eyes and 2 minds looking at your natal chart.
Nick’s specialty is Medical Astrology. He spends much of his time learning about the body and practicing longevity. They even wrote a Medical Astrology Guidebook together!!
Crystal enjoys the Synastry Readings, where you look at two individual’s natal charts to gain insight on the relationship.
Together they share a ton of knowledge and help you gain clarity.
Crystal also creates authentic crystal/stone and precious metal jewelry.
Together, they create Wellness products and offer Health & Lifestyle consultations.
Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
The most important lesson that we have learned along our journey, is to ALWAYS listen to and follow your heart. When you tune in, you can feel what is right for your soul journey.
