Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennie Sutliffe and Rachel Theede.
Hi Jennie and Rachel, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
We had a vision to create something unique, all while building a business we can enjoy and have it be long-lasting.
We have been Best Friends since 2008. When life became busy and we started our own families, we grew even closer as our oldest children are only 10 days apart in age. We wanted to have a meaningful name and that is how Endless August LLC came to be. The meaning of Endless is just that, endless opportunity, endless jewelry, endless family and friends. August is the month our two oldest children were born.
Our logo of the Aster flower represents Rachel’s youngest son, while the blooming flower represents Jenn’s baby boy who coincidently, is also due this upcoming August.
Can you talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It absolutely has not been an easy road to start a business. We have learned so much through the process. We have found that consistent research, self-education, and leaning on those who are experts in your industry truly go a long way.
Although it is never easy to start your own business, if you have the tenacity to push through and the support needed from family and friends, you can do anything.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
The process of welding permanent jewelry is a new trend, and we are proud to be a part of its evolution. The process itself is very quick and easy. First, you pick a chain and include charms if you choose as we have a wide selection of both chains and charms. Once you’ve made a selection, we size it to either your wrist, ankle, neck, or finger and weld it back together.
This process makes it clasp less and allows for endless wear. You can cut it off at any point, but we ensure, as long as you want it on, it will stay on. Currently, we offer individual appointments and private in-home parties. We’ll even come to special events such as Bridal showers, Bachelorette parties, and charity events.
We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up.
Jenn’s favorite childhood memory. All of the outdoor MN summers with my family growing up. My mom’s side of the family lives in Grand Rapids, MN so we spent most summers there where I would enjoy the lakes, fishing, and bonfires with my family.
Rachel’s favorite childhood memory. I enjoyed spending time outdoors at my family’s cabin in the summer! Year-round you could find me at the stables with my family’s horses.
