Check Out Jill Jerabek’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jill Jerabek.

Jill, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
After spending years in therapy sorting through trauma and my story, I still felt stuck. While I understood what had happened to me and felt like I was healing, I didn’t feel any difference in how I interacted in my relationships or with my colleagues or with my family. I found myself falling into familiar patterns that landed me in frustration.

When I met Rhonda Britten, master coach and founder of the Fearless Living Institute, and began working with one of her coaches, I began to see immediate positive change. I was able to break those familiar patterns that I no longer needed and create new patterns that came from me. Patterns shaped by boundaries and emotional management and what I was willing to do instead of what others wanted from me.

I knew this was what I was meant to do with my life. I enrolled in the Fearless Living Coaching program and became a coach.

I now help women break the cycle of keeping the peace at all costs through expanding awareness of how this cycle serves as a coping mechanism, healing the emotional wounds that keep the cycle going, and creating boundaries that ultimately break the cycle.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The biggest challenge in being a coach is my desire to help everyone! That simply isn’t practical, nor is it wise. Finding and owning my niche has been a long and heart-wrenching journey as I have many skills and experiences that could support so many people. Peace and confidence came once I drew a line in the sand by choosing what specific problem I would help women resolve. Passion quickly followed because the more I see women break the cycle of keeping the peace and people-pleasing, the more excited I become as I know they are helping others do the same simply through the ripple effect their healing transformation creates. It is this passion that supports me on the days I feel alone as a solo entrepreneur or the days I feel overwhelmed by all the essential work with social media and accounting or the days I wonder where the next clients will come from as clients graduate. In the end, it’s all worth it because women are living more authentically, finding their purpose, and rippling love and positive energy into the world.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
As a life coach, I have the privilege of merging my experience and passion with my coaching skills to support women in creating a life of authenticity and purpose they live with passion. My expertise combines the power of questions that move a client into a deep conversation with themselves while providing them with tools to create effective boundaries that connect instead of divide people, deepen their understanding of how emotions work and serve them, and guide them in expanding their support network to include more mutual relationships that honor all of who they are.

I excel at moving clients to the core of problem that created the familiar behavior patterns in their lives so that they can expand awareness and break the patterns that no longer serve them. I live for those ah-ha moments when I can see the wheels turning in a client’s head and they put it all together. That is the moment I know true transformation has begun and they will see momentum and positive change that lasts.

What sets me apart from other boundary experts and emotional intelligence experts is I build every tool on relationship and connection. Every tool I use and teach must first connect clients to themselves and their inner guidance system along with any greater power they might believe in, and then connect them with others. This means my method for boundaries is often the exact opposite of what clients were taught. Clients are also surprised that I do not advocate for breaking connections, instead I advocate for “loving from a distance” as needed, and only breaking connection completely when the client isn’t safe in that relationship at all. The same is true for my philosophy and approach to emotional intelligence. I move clients into a deeper, more grounded relationship with their emotions that takes them beyond emotional intelligence to relational intelligence.

So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
Relationships and connection matter most to me because I believe, at the core, we are relational beings. We are meant to thrive when connected with one another, a greater power or sense of oneness, and the natural world. Every relationship begins within. When we know who we are and are able to hold space for ourselves, we experience more meaning and connection in every relationship. This approach makes for a better world and I am on a mission to contribute to a more loving, joyful, connected world.
