Hey, as a working mother, I understand the stress and time it takes to plan and host special occasions. I created Memorable Moments to make your party planning simple and easy. My planning will ensure your child’s party will be an event they will remember for years to come! I am here to help make your child’s party not only special, but as easy as possible. Let me lighten the workload so you can sit back and watch your child’s dreams come to life. When I look back at some of the most memorable moments as a child, it was without a doubt birthday parties. My vision is to share this with others, so they too can create childhood memories that they can look back on and treasure! I invented a mobile spa bus for children – a bus that pulls right up to your doorstep. It’s very hassle free for parents, and very memorable and unique. I also do in home spas, and teepee sleepovers. I would have never imagined where I would be at today. Each and every event leaves a special place in my heart. It’s so rewarding, and love hearing the feedback.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I mean, starting a business is not easy. I’d say building my mobile spa bus was my biggest challenge and obstacle. I gutted the bus completely – from the floor, taking out the handicap lift, refurbishing the seats, building a wall and figuring out how to supply power. I had this vision, and it took a lot of time, creativity, dedication and sleepless nights.
Supplies, it never ends. Each event is different, and requires so much planning. Each guest gets their own robe and mask with their name on it – I make about 50 robes, and 50 customized masks a week. Also, a glam tote bag – filled to the top with spa favors. From lotion, chapstick, hairbrush, nail filer, hairbrush, face wipes, etc. It’s time consuming, but it is what makes my business special. It’s all the little details that are noticed and mentioned in reviews.
I’d say weather has been another challenge. You never know what the weather is going to be like in Minnesota. It could be snowing in March. I operate my mobile spa bus year round – and have traveled far commutes in snow storms. No one likes driving in the snow, but I will do whatever it takes to be there and make my events memorable.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am an event planner – strictly children premier entertainment. My most popular package is my mobile spa bus. I was able to plan and be apart of 300+ events in 2024.
I’m known to be the crazy party planner, and the lady that keeps children entertained in my bus for hours. Kidding, but I do know how to throw events that will never be forgotten. I’m well liked, and well reviewed on Google. I have been told that my communication, passion, hard work, dedication and professionalism is always noticed.
I am proud of what I created. I always wanted to be my own boss, and I did it. I get to work with kids, this is what I enjoy most. I get to celebrate girls over and over again. It’s just so rewarding to have repeat customers.
What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
I would like to purchase another bus – and operate 2 mobile spa buses on the weekends. There are only so many weekends in a month, and book up so quick. I end up turning families away, and it isn’t a good feeling. I just don’t have the availability but with another bus – this would open a lot more opportunities.
I am looking to hire a couple employees. It is a big jump, because I’ve been running my own business by myself for the past 3 years. I worry about my reviews, and presentation. But, with another bus – I can’t operate both.
These both are in the works, and I can’t wait!
