I would consider myself an artsy kind of girl. Give me a glue gun, some supplies, and I’m ready to take over the world.
Hello, my name is Latoya the owner of Kids Creative Events & Décor. A local company in MN specializing in Personalized Décor; Event Decorating, and so much more! In 2011 I hosted my daughter’s 8th Birthday Party. “Rock Star Theme” That’s when I knew I had a talent for organizing and decorating creative events. I’ve always had a passion for planning and decorating my kids’ parties, family events and get-togethers. It was in 2017 I decided to go into business for myself, I started with birthday theme T-Shirts to grow my clientele, As the T-shirts progressed I then added custom\personalized theme Décor to match. I became the local go-to girl for T-shirts, creative events and personalized décor.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Obstacles/Challenge I had was finding balance – As a Mom, Entrepreneur and a Full-Time Employee can feel like there are never enough hours in the day. Every day I have to wear multiple hats; mother, boss and the list goes on and on.
Once I started to develop a Priority-Based Routine, Set Daily Goals that Allow Flexibility, Created a Tribe, and lots of coffee I’m learning how to balance my many hats.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Not only do I create unique and memorable events/decor, I also have a passion to teach youth entrepreneurship.
What matters most to you? Why?
Family – I have a strong family, I always find the love and support I need within them. With family/community behind me, I find motivation and courage for success.
