Today we’d like to introduce you to Marissa Moore and Amy Fouche.
Hi Marissa and Amy, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
We met at work 3 years ago and instantly realized we have a soul sister connection. We love helping people but we became burnt out working our 9-5 and wanted to do something that made both of our hearts truly happy. So with a little bit of personal funds, abundant intentions, and our sights set on our goal we created Kindred Souls. We have been doing craft and holiday fairs and pop up events since July 2021. We have been all over Minnesota from Saint Paul, White Bear Lake and Stillwater, to Delano. We have dedicated endless hours to handcrafting all of our displays, the check out, crystal dishes, crystal bra clips, home decor signs and our crystal trays. We pride ourselves on handpicking only the best, high quality crystals to be able to provide next level healing.
Our mission is to help bring spirituality and positive, uplifting energies to the communities by providing the best quality crystals, metaphysical supplies, and energy healing services at affordable prices for everyone.
Our end goal is to own a brick and mortar shop in Saint Paul someday. We would also love to be able to travel and dig our own crystals.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
We don’t have an actual brick and mortar shop so we have a “traveling display” with 2 4’ft tables and 3 6 ft tables and a 12×12 tent. Set up and break down takes us about an hour to an hour and a half depending on how much product we bring to display. Sometimes we have to adjust our display based on the event space which can be challenging because it’s so hard picking and choosing what to bring and what not to bring. It also takes a toll on our bodies hauling everything around ourselves. We have also lost some crystals in traveling due to being broken so one of our biggest obstacles is making sure all of our product is safe to travel.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
We pride ourselves on giving each customer insight on how to use their healing crystal. We give insight on which crystal may benefit them at that particular time. We want everyone to leave our booth feeling that they learned something new. We strive to help each person we meet on their spiritual journey. Amy also offers Reiki healing which is another way our customers are able to experience energy healing.
Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
We won Best Display at the Taste of Shakopee’s this past summer.
We have also cleansed people’s homes and personal spaces of negative and stagnant energies with a spiritual cleansing ceremony using our crystals and sage.
We are currently looking at places that we can turn into the perfect metaphysical shop and we’re hoping to be up and running by this summer! So stay tuned….
