Check Out Shardae Robinson’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Shardae Robinson.

Hi Shardae, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
It all started 5 years ago, as I came into the local music scene here in Minnesota. My current dear friend but then manager, Devonne Mayweather took me under his wing and introduced me to many artists, Dj’s and promoters & more. I performed at tons of open mics, got booked for a few shows and even went out of town. Soon after, I released my 1st single & video called “TURN UP”.

From there I continued to drop covers, singles and even started a few businesses. My Entertainment brand DaeTV Entertainment LLC and Mommy&ME Vending Services. DaeTV Entertainment LLC is an Entertainment company/label that focuses on music, events and promotion. I signed myself as an artist under my own label, as well as my daughter’s modeling career and other entities that fall under my brand.

Both businesses started right before the Covid Pandemic, and started strong but then had to slow down. I decided to take that time to really focus on how I can still build and earn income while the world was on pause.

Now with a new year, brings new starts in my entrepreneurial journey. I am now hosting my own events under my DaeTV brand and also was offered a job with the long lasting radio station KMOJ as an underwriter! I’ve always wanted to be in radio and I finally got the opportunity.

I’m just an Mpls girl building her kingdom one talent at a time.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Of course, it hasn’t, lol. I LLC’d my business in February of 2022, right after the first case was discovered in the US. So my vending machine business flopped a little but we did manage to place 4 candy machines and @ big pop/snack machines. As far as DaeTV, I wasn’t able to use public places for my interviews or go to events as they were starting to close those. So to me, it seemed everything was falling apart.

Not to mention my first project was also delayed, but not due to covid. I had copyright issues with my production and it took some time to get fixed.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
So I wear many hats. I liked to say I am a serial entrepreneur haha. But I am a singer/songrwriter, Content Creator, Event Curator, Radio Underwriter, Creative Director, Virtual Assistant and I occasionally graphic design.

I feel like everything I decide to put my hands into, all circles around the others someway, somehow. I believe I’m no prouder than one talent over the other, I’m more so proud of myself for even pushing myself to do all things at once. That’s what makes me who I am and sets me aside. I have no issue collabing with others, or working on multiple projects but I also can do or be so many things when I don’t have that extra help. I self-teach myself everything I know ( thanks to YouTube lol ) and that’s a talent many can’t do.

Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
My 1st project as an artist comes out last May 6th 2022. “Life Of The Party EP”
