Today we’d like to introduce you to Itzel Naranjo
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Hi! My name is Itzel Naranjo, I am Latina, and my job has always been making my mother proud because she came into this country without knowing English. I am the oldest of 5 and I got to see the struggles my mother went through, and I always told myself that one way or another I want to repay everything she has done for our family by retiring her, so she no longer has to work. Now years went by I graduated High school, and I did go to college but unfortunately it really was not for me. Now at some point I was going from job to job, and I know that doing that was not going to get me nowhere in life. I became a stay at home with both my kids, which of course I am grateful with my partner because he took care of our expenses so I could watch my kids grow, and I wanted to find a way to work from home and still be able to watch my kids grow up and achieve milestones with. I was almost 40 weeks pregnant when one of my broker’s agents reached out to me about a business opportunity that was flexible and was able to do from home, we met through a zoom meeting, and she showed me a presentation that broke down everything. The business is with Primerica, which is a Financial Service company, which specializes in 3 major industries, which are Insurance, Investment and home loans. They paid for my license fees and schooling fees. Now fast forward I am trying to build my own business and teaching others how they can build their own business and become financially free, I do not plan to make sales for the rest of my life. I want to build a business where I make money while sleeping but also helping other young adults how to do so as well. My goal is to retire my mother, buy my home, pay off my debts and become financially free and not work for someone else’s dream at a 9-5 job.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Just like in any business, there are always good and bad days. Personally, for me there has been a few struggles that I know eventually I will get to a paint where there will not be as many struggles, and it will just be a smooth road. The main struggle I would say is young people willing to hear me out about this opportunity, now I do not get paid to bring people on board into my team, but I do it because I want others to know what this opportunity can do for them but also for their families. I want to educate young people and adults especially in out Latino community about my business not just necessarily coming to work with me to help them become their own boss and financially free but also with educating families on the value in the services we offer. I know many Latinos that are not ware about investments and being able to retire or even having a life insurance to have some time of protection if God forbid something happened. But I know that once I am more years into this business, I will be able to help more families change their finance life and young people change their lives as well.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Primerica?
We specialize in 3 major industries which are Insurance, Investments, and home loans. Our mission here is simple, we help families earn more income and become properly protected, debt free and financially independent.
Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
Just take the risk, best case scenario it is the best decision you made, worst case scenario you stay in the same place you started in.
