Today we’d like to introduce you to Paul Osterbauer.
Hi Paul, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I am a 1986 graduate of Northwestern College of Chiropractic. I received his Master’s Degree in Public Health from the University of Washington in 1993. After working with Dr. Fuhr, founder of Activator Methods International, for 10 years in Arizona, I relocated to Texas to continue chiropractic research at the Texas Back Institute.
I returned to Minnesota in 1998 to teach and research at Northwestern Health Sciences University (formerly NWCC). In the Methods Department of Northwestern Health Sciences University, I developed & taught courses in Geriatrics and participated in an interprofessional Geriatric Residency pilot program. I also taught Evidence Based Programming to strengthen posture, developed by Dr. Stephen Weiniger of BodyZone.
I am a Certified Posture Education Professional and an adjunct faculty member at Northwestern Health Sciences University.
My wife and I purchased our current chiropractic clinic in 2023. I am happy to serve the residents of Circle Pines and the surrounding area.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has been a challenge to start a business after 60. My wife and I have 8 children and our youngest is 11. These have been difficult to overcome, but have been very rewarding.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Our clinic is located between the intersections of Lake Drive and Lexington Ave. in the heart of Circle Pines. We specialize in the Activator method of chiropractic. I taught Activator method at Northwestern Health Sciences University for 25 years and continue to teach as an adjunct faculty member. Lexington Square Chiropractic Center continues to provide quality chiropractic care after years of being in the same location. After purchasing the practice from the previous owner in 2023, we have found loyal patients that appreciate same day appointments, reasonable fees, and quality care. Some insurances are accepted and we also offer online scheduling for your convenience.
How do you think about happiness?
Faith, family, and my career make me very happy. I enjoy time with my wife and children as well as a men’s group. I am active in my church and community. I find all of these things very fulfilling both socially and mentally. I enjoy reading, socializing, and being in the outdoors or working on home projects.
