Today we’d like to introduce you to Archie Langdon.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
We started making candles out of wine bottles to pay for a mission trip to Haiti. It wasn’t long before we realized we needed to do more, so we started a business. We based this company on our fundamental beliefs, where paying it forward was our main priority. It feels good to be able to donate money to those in need and organizations we are passionate about. Now we make candles out of reclaimed Spanish dough bowls, glass candles, and massage candles.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
We live in different cities, both single parents and we both work full time in healthcare. Neither of us knew the ins and outs of starting a business nor how to make a good quality product. There is still so much for us to learn.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Tiffanie has worked for Fairview for 22 years, currently as a CT tech. Archie has worked for Mayo Clinic for 19 years, currently as a Lab Processing Assistant. We are most proud of our mission work and excited for future opportunities to help others.
Any big plans?
Tiffanie and I recently got engaged and plan a wedding in September. Approximately one week later we hope to be in Haiti on a mission trip.
We are so excited to grow our little business so we can donate more than we currently are able to. As for our products, we have expanded into bath products and continue to test new fun ideas.
