Hi Chasing, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
We are two friends who came from our home countries through a cultural exchange program with the goal of learning English and immersing ourselves in a new culture. We are two people who arrived with a love of travel, and we began searching for national parks and tourist spots in general to visit. Every time we traveled, we were amazed by all the wonderful places in the United States. After visiting around 21 states, we saw the need to create a digital product aimed at all travelers who love to explore and discover remote corners of nature. Every time we traveled, We found that creating an itinerary takes a lot of time, due to the amount of research involved in finding the best way to maximize your time and fully enjoy the experience without any setbacks So, we created a product that we would have loved to have on hand when we started planning our trips. There’s a lot of information overload, which leads to people getting confused, frustrated, or unsure how to do it correctly. Our Guidebook contains few pages with the necessary information, such as a general description of the park, trails, parking, weather, hiking times, difficulty, and all of this, accompanied by photographs and maps that allow people to know exactly what they’re going to see. We also suggest itineraries that accommodate the type of difficulty the traveler desires. We also provide some suggested itineraries and costs, and you’ll also find templates to help you set a budget and customize your itinerary based on the information provided throughout the Guidebook. currently, our goal right now is creating a guidebook for each National Park in US and we are working on it . We already have a guidebook called “Chasing Grand Canyon National Park” available to buy.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Our biggest challenge along the way has been learning how to use AI (Artificial Intelligence) tools to create our digital product. Also, being part of the new era of digital marketing has been totally challenging. We’re thrilled with everything we’re learning.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Alejandra is from Colombia. I earned a bachelor’s degree in Business and International Relations in my home country and came to the United States looking for opportunities to grow professionally. At first, my main goal was to learn a language, but over time, I discovered my passion for trip planning and traveling. I work full-time in Community Childcare, but at the same time, I dedicate myself to my digital business. I am a spiritual person who works daily to find her purpose in life. I am exploring ways to discover the person I want to be in the future and make a difference in the world. I am proud that I completely changed my life to come here and rebuild a new one with no regrets or complaints. I am building a life I am proud of. I have a deep interest in helping animals, so I am a mix of many facets. I care a lot about people I love and all I do is with all my heart.
Vanesa is from Ecuador, I have a bachelor’s degree in Tourism and Hospitality in my home country, I used to be a tour guide on the nature for foreign and national people who loves to enjoy of the magic of cultures, food, traditions, as well as nature such as volcanoes, lakes, beaches, etc. I also really enjoyed traveling and getting to know new places, which is when I started looking for places to learn English and at the same time continue traveling, then I found that an excellent place to start a new journey and learn was the United States, it was then that I made the decision to come and learn the language and continue doing what I love most, which is traveling. I feel very proud of having made that decision and having the opportunity to continue traveling and getting to know more places, in addition to creating a digital product that will help people who like to travel and explore new places, saving them time and money. Finally, what sets me apart from others is having a positive mind and having faith that everything you want can be achieved by leaving your comfort zone.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
There is always something to learn and you can be as big as you want. You have to set big dreams in your life, put work on it and you can reach anything you want.
