Hi Destiny , thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I launched my photography business right after my daughter was born, and it’s been an exhilarating journey! I’ve always dreamed of capturing the beauty of love and life through my camera lens. With a passion for expressing my emotions and thoughts creatively, I found the perfect way to share my story. When my husband asked what I wanted as a push present, I immediately said, “A camera!” It’s been 8 incredible months of practice, and I’m now building a vibrant community of fellow creatives—both clients and photographers—on Instagram and TikTok.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Learning something new is always an adventure filled with challenges! But my passion for creating and spreading joy through my lens makes every moment worthwhile. With the amazing resources of YouTube University, my trusty Google doctorate, and the invaluable support from fellow photographers, I’ve powered through some tough times. From mastering exposure balance to diving into Lightroom and figuring out how to connect with clients!

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I would consider myself a portrait photographer, specializing in couples. I love capturing their love through my lens and witnessing their stories unfold before my eyes. I take great pride in how far I have come in my journey as a photographer, and I appreciate my adaptability and eagerness to learn new things every day.

What sets me apart from others in my field is my experience as someone who has spent more time in front of the lens than behind it. This perspective allows me to understand what clients want. I bring warmth, intention, and a personal touch to every shoot. As a mom, I know how quickly time passes and how meaningful it is to freeze those fleeting, beautiful in-between moments.

I don’t just take photos; I create a space where people feel seen, comfortable, and confident. I’ll encourage you, make you laugh, and capture your true self in the most natural way.

My style blends lifestyle and editorial influences, resulting in images that are candid yet curated, timeless yet current. I shoot with heart every single time.

How do you think about happiness?
My family, self-care, and being creative and expressing myself makes me happy because I am my best self when I with my family and practicing what I love. Above all that God makes me Joyful because without Him I wouldn’t be where I am today, His unconditional love has shown me grace and lifted me up in my darkest days.
