Conversations with Elizabeth Sullivan

Today we’d like to introduce you to Elizabeth Sullivan.

Elizabeth Sullivan

Hi Elizabeth, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
Soma Soul Sovereignty came out of a desire to support people in becoming accessible and awakening to their light within. Soma has many meanings, and one of them is the integration of body, mind, and spirit–when this is integrated, we align with our fullest potential. I began to learn Energy Medicine–SourcePoint Therapy, after the birth of my third son. We lived in Santa Fe at the time, and I was looking for answers to my chronic stress pattern that was causing symptoms of alopecia–hair loss. I became curious about other modalities when Western medicine, a modality I was raised in with my parents as a doctor and a nurse, did not have the answers to alleviate this chronic stress and symptom pattern. I wanted to get to the root cause. This led me to try many modalities, and the ones that I experienced the stress pattern lifting from me are the ones I took a deep dive into studying and training within–including Ayurveda, Yoga Nidra, Somatics, Energy Medicine and Ancestry, and other lifetimes as well as now working with the Harmonic Eggs.

When I was four, I started with Yoga and returned to it after the birth of my fourth son; this led me to become a certified Yoga Therapist who is also trained in Somatics (neuromuscular reeducation), Ayurveda, and Yoga Nidra, and while studying our multidimensional selves, I became trained in Ancestry and Other Lifetimes Quantum Physics Healing. I also work with the Harmonic Egg, a sacred geometric healing chamber that incorporates sound and light frequency healing. This unique combination of modalities supports my own life and those I have the privilege to work with, thus becoming more skillful and well-rounded. So many things support our self-healing state, from how we nourish ourselves mentally, emotionally, and physically to how we are in harmony with our nature and the cycles of nature, our lifestyle, while also transforming the undercurrents we are here to heal, including our karma, trauma, emotional, ancestral and belief system patterns. All of these patterns, including our ancestral lineages, can lead to our imbalances and also when transformed they can become our greatest gifts and strengths returning us to our health and full potential.

Our body is wise and can self-heal, and as we pour that energy into our being, our bodies–mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually– will respond in kind. Over the past 15 years, I have had the incredible opportunity to support my clients. I offer training, classes, and one-on-one work with people. I also host a weekly podcast and radio show, Exploring Sovereignty with Elizabeth. I share expertise in self-healing and interview heart-centered thought leaders on their pathway to becoming free. I would love for you to join the conversation by following and sharing the podcast or come and work with me if you’re inspired to step deeply into your self-healing pathway.

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Healing is not always linear, nor is it without some deep self-study and encountering the parts of ourselves that had to survive difficulty. But it has led me to greater inner and outer freedom, sovereignty, and authenticity. Some of the struggles were taking a deep look into why my body was expressing hair loss in the form of alopecia. For me, this involved healing childhood trauma, transforming it into a healthy vulnerability, and finding what would set me free from it. I have learned a lot through my journey and have partnered with others in their healing journey for the past 15 years. I am privileged to support people in their healing journey and as they discover their pathway to freedom and authenticity.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar with what you do, what can you tell them about what you do?
I teach and support people in their self-healing journeys. As humans we have the greatest potential to self heal, it’s what our bodies seek and return toward. When we partner, we use ancient and recent modalities to support their processes, including somatics, ancestry, and other lifetime work, Yoga Therapy, Yoga Nidra, Ayurveda, Energy Medicine, and the Harmonic Eggs. I am intensely trained in all the modalities I practice and am one of the few people with this unique combination and expertise. I love to support others in learning it so they can use it for themselves, their families, and within their practices if they are also practitioners. I am most proud of my work with others as I witness their inner and outer transformation as they step into their optimal future selves, purpose, and path. I feel privileged to partner with people in their self-healing journey, whether it is a healing pain, ancestry, emotional patterns, transforming karma, or simply wanting to be grounded in their optimal potential as a human at this time.

There are many ways to work with me; I have a podcast and am950 radio show that airs Sundays at 11 am–tune in, and it then drops to your favorite podcast platform on Mondays and Thursdays, where we explore pathways to becoming free and information to support this evolution. Give a follow and share on your favorite podcast platform. I would love to have you join the community of explorers. I offer a monthly class subscription for a Thursday 9 am CST weekly class offered online or in person and recordings provided called the Micro Alchemist–a blend of Somatics, Yoga, Ayurveda, strength training, and Energy Medicine & Work–you can also subscribe just for the recordings if preferable and go at your own pace. Each year, I offer the Energetic Healing Program, a series of classes with me to learn how to heal yourself and your ancestry and deepen your intuitive nature and skills, or the Physical Alchemist, which is a 6-month journey to support energy workers and the committed soul learn how to ground higher consciousness in skillful and supportive ways. And, of course, I offer 1-1 sessions to support your healing journey more intensely. If you wish to learn more, read more and contact me at www.somasoulsovereignty.com. I would love to hear from you.

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
I love that St. Paul can simultaneously feel like a small town and a large city. I often see someone I grew up with and meet someone new. It has incredible opportunities to be in nature, and I hope that as it grows, we protect the green spaces available within our city.

Please let me know how the above reads and what else you may need for clarification–also will I see it before it goes to print after you read/edit it? I feel like I possibly repeated myself a few spots. Thank you for having me! I am excited to be featured and look forward to if possible seeing the revision before it goes to print. Thanks, Elizabeth
