Conversations with Hamza Hassan

Today we’d like to introduce you to Hamza Hassan.

Hi Hamza, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’m a small-town kid who spent most of my life feeling overlooked. Every room I walked into, I felt doubted before I even spoke. The truth is, I rarely spoke at all. I never felt like I had a voice, and I was far too shy to do anything about it.

I was the short, undersized, frail guy. Naturally, that made me insecure. I lacked confidence, avoided attention, and accepted the idea that maybe I was just meant to stay in the background.

Until one day,I sat down with myself and said, “Today is the day everything changes.”

From that moment on, I started building my ideal life.

The first thing I wanted to change was my physique. That was the easiest problem to solve. I committed myself to the gym with relentless discipline, promising that in a year I would be unrecognizable, and I made it come into reality

Then came confidence.

Public speaking terrified me. The thought of putting myself out there made me sick to my stomach. So instead of running from that fear, I leaned directly into it.

I started posting videos on social media.

Looking back, it was the best decision I’ve ever made.

Not only did it force me to build confidence, but it also allowed me to build something much bigger than myself—a community called The “Platoon”. It didn’t start with expensive cameras or a massive following. It started with an iPhone, a cheap TikTok tripod, and a dream.

On April 30th, 2025. I launched a series called DREAMMAXXING.

The message was simple:

You’re never too young or too old to chase your dreams.

You don’t have to live the same day over and over again. You have complete control over the choices you make, and those choices determine the life you build. Therefore feedback I’ve gotten from that series was astonishing. I received hundreds of messages of people that related with the feeling of living the same day over and over again and want to make a change in their lives.

At nineteen years old, I realized there was still one thing missing.

I’d never traveled.

I didn’t even own a passport.

If I truly wanted to become the kind of person who experienced everything life had to offer, I couldn’t keep waiting for the “right time.”

So I booked a trip to Tokyo, Japan.

It became one of the greatest experiences of my life.

Visiting the place where so many of my favorite anime were created felt surreal. More importantly, it proved something to me: the life I’d always imagined wasn’t reserved for someone else. It was available to me the moment I decided to pursue it.

Looking back, everything changed because of one decision.

Taking action.

If my story proves anything, it’s that your entire life can change in a remarkably short amount of time when you decide to take responsibility for it. Different results come from different choices. Every version of your future begins with a decision you make today.

So if you take one thing away from this article, let it be this:

Chase your dreams relentlessly. Never let someone else’s opinion become the reason you never discover what you’re truly capable of. You are capable of far more than you realize, but no one can chase your dreams for you. That’s your responsibility.

Now go make it happen.

And don’t forget to One Punch It.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Far from smooth, I went through ups and down throughout my journey. Everytime I’d feel like I was making substantial progress life would humble me. When I’d be progressing with my lifts in the gym and injury would happen and would be immediately force me to think back to when I was healthy and realized that I wasn’t grateful for the blessing of being healthy.

Also, at the peak of social media climb, In the beginning of 2026. I woke up, checked my notifications on Instagram like I do every morning. But for some reason i didn’t have any which was odd. So I clicked on to the app and I was greeted with a content creators worst nightmare. A message reading “Your Instagram account has been suspended” truly gut reaching feeling. A million thoughts were running through my head and the feeling of hope of a career went out the window in a blink of an eye. But with the trust of God I made a prayer and put my trust in him, and thankfully it was returned shortly after.

That goes to show that a journey is bound to have road bumps along the way, and I wouldn’t want it any other way. Because going thought tests like this will only make me stronger and enjoy my reward even more.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m currently a full time college student and have a full time job working at homecare company that helps vulnerable adults across Minnesota.

I’m grateful to have this position because it gives me the chance everyday to come into work and be grateful of the things that I’m blessed with in my own life. Also, being around these individuals make my day and I always show up to work with a smile on my face and try my best to make their day better with the short time that I spend with them.

It definitely plays a part in the man I’ve become and the wholesome content I produce outside of work.

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
Discipline, Passion, Humble, and charismatic.

Discipline and passion will help you build and sustain your business in the long run.

But being humbling and charismatic will allow you to be a better person outside of your business. It’ll make you a more personable and likable person. Part of social media is being able to network and connect with companies and people that otherwise would’ve been hard to get in contact with. By being a humble and kind human it’ll make conversation and connecting so much easier.
