Conversations with Jamie Lee

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jamie Lee.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Every since I was a kid I always wanted to be a hero. As I grew older, I realized all I wanted to do was help people. That brought me joy: seeing others around me happy and living life. I started with selling essentials oils and designer fragrances, just as my mentor and father figure Glenn Brown directed. After a couple of months, I received a message from one of my old friends Chris Varkpeh from childhood. He already had an whole business operation called Beyond Being Vegan, but as we started to incorporate each other’s values, we revamped the whole business as well as the name. Despite Beyond Being Vegan is a nice name, it wasn’t appealing to the audience. People didn’t understand the meaning, didn’t care, or just weren’t vegan. We had more products than vegan ones, but they didn’t know. But I digress. We renamed the business Beavanti, and that means moving forward, living life more abundantly physically, spiritually, and mentally.

Recently, Chris and I traveled to Las Vegas to receive an award for New and Upcoming Business. We’re now planning to go back mid-February after being awarded another. We also recently started a record label as well. What we are doing is making our brand *the* brand, the one-stop-shop for all your necessities.

Throughout this, we give 1% of all of our earnings back to the world so that we are doing our part. We have our own personal trainers, Laurel and Leroy. We also have our own comprehensive app. Grubhub and DoorDash deliver our smoothies in the warmer months, as well clothing & workout gear.

In short, this is how I’ve made it to the point where I am now. I’m only going further than this, and I have big plans for the new year.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Of course, I’ve had my struggles before the business. I was sleeping in my car, as well as my grandmother’s house when there was room. On top of that, my father passed away on New Year’s Day. That’s why I am working to build rehabilitation centers in his name, working to honor him and help others. I feel like everyone has their difficulties in life, but it’s our mindset that separates us.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
What sets me apart is that I have a sense of keen knowing and understanding. I have a way with words and an outstanding ability to understand and have empathy. It’s what I’m proud of most, but what I do is scouting & the vip of BYND ent.

Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs or other resources you think our readers should check out?
