Hi Anna, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I make earrings and accessories by hand from clay. I have always had a creative niche. I dabbled in a few different mediums and took a break on and off. I raised (and am still raising) my kids, and in October of 2022, I finally discovered what I enjoy doing – making earrings! I started my journey as a self-care “me” time hobby and have passionately loved it. All my accessories are hand-crafted with intention and care. From the custom color, buffing, sanding, and to the assembly, I do all of this by hand with love. To the most minor details, I curate every piece carefully to ensure that I love what I create and that my buyers will, too! Since then, my hobby has evolved into a passion for empowering and inspiring individuals with handmade earrings and accessories. I can do this because earrings and accessories are a one-size-fits-all. They are the one thing you can always have on hand that will fit you at any stage in life! There is something so special about pouring my heart into what I love doing and seeing it reach the hands of so many different individuals. It truly fills my heart when I see people loving what I enjoy creating!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been relatively smooth so far?
It could have been smoother. There have been many struggles, and these are just a few. One is getting started, finding all the resources, and finding the funds to get started. Second, I must find an audience and build a community of loyal, repeat customers. Lastly, social media and marketing is a challenging task!
