Today we’d like to introduce you to Brooke Daniels
Hi Brooke, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I have 2 beautiful children Grace and Gabe and 1 amazing husband Ryan. I have worked for 25 years in healthcare revenue cycle all while always loving all things bridal. I previously owned a wedding planning business and then just for fun worked at a bridal shop here in the twin cities. A coworker at the end of 2022 asked me, “What would you do if you could do what you love”? To which I then replied “Open a bridal shop”. That is what kicked off my dream to pursue opening a bridal and prom shop in 2023. After many months of planning, working with the MN Score Organization and obtaining funding I was able to open my shop on Oct 6th 2023. It was one of the best days of my life.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The biggest struggles were figuring out the funding aspect and also what designers to carry as there are so many and also ones that are spoken for in my area. I knew I wanted to focus not only on beautiful designs but great customer service more importantly.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
What sets us apart from other bridal shops besides our intimate atmosphere and amazing customer service is that we are family owned and also that my daughter and I are both designing gowns ourselves. A few of our best sellers are gowns that we personally designed and sketched through our designer Evelyn to bring our creations to life. We hope to continue designing and create a whole line that is from Bride and Jewel Co/Brooke Elizabeth and maybe even one day sell to other stores!
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
Being ever present on social media is a huge part of our success but moreso that our amazing customer service speaks volumes and that word has been spreading over the twin cities and now into other states even.
