Today we’d like to introduce you to Cha Rae Smith
Hi Cha Rae, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I would love to share with you all on how I’ve become a certified life coach who specializes in confidence coaching. In December 2016 I created a women’s support group Called Fitness Sisters HSG. The HSG stands for health support group. It was designed to help encourage, motivate and inspire women to create healthy habits along with finding fitness friendships. When I created this health support group, it started with only a few women who I knew closely with the intention to help each other stay accountable. Creating this group on Facebook allowed opportunity for easy access as well as a free resource. In a short amount of time word got out and the group grew with women from all over the world who were looking for the same support and encouragement. Fitness Sisters managed to hold space for over 10,000 women in an astonishing amount of time and it led to many new opportunities.
I was able to tap into not only holding space for this amount of women, but also gave me the opportunity to learn how to lead and build a business from it. Being in this position gave me much insight and tools on how to mentor and manage relationships along with business. It very much taught me the value of working with women and creating healthy and valuable meaningful relationships.
I spent much of my time fostering and curating healthy relationships within this community of women and really enjoyed watching them grow and develop in many areas of their lives. It really was a pivot point for me when I realized I had a greater purpose in life and that I could be apart of a healthy change in people’s lives in a more positive aspect.
The opportunity that was given to me was a blessing that continues to evolve into many more intentional phases of life and business. It provided me with the validation and the confidence to continue to grow into my gift. The gift of “helping others grow”. Being able to tap into what women need to be their best self and understand their personal value.
I learned and I fostered what I was good at and had a personal passion and purpose for and in January 2022 I became a certified life coach who specializes in confidence coaching. I enjoy being able to work with women on their lives journey and promote all things positive and possible!
My goal is to help women re-imagine their lives and help them identify their WHY. By reaching out to meet them in the middle and establish goal setting and accountability. Also by allowing positive energy to expand the mind and body to get women out of their comfort zone. By zoning in on their aspirations, I have ways to establish a positive approach that will help women attain their goals and find their power and purpose.
Bringing my background knowledge in mentoring through health and fitness, I’ve learned many ways to provide to others by helping women identify the obstacles holding them back and strategies for overcoming each obstacle. Thinking outside the box and creating a new comfort zone and confidence.
It has been an absolute amazing journey serving women who need it the most. I am grateful for the opportunity to share in community and bring a sense of positive energy and adventure to those I encounter with.
I am very happy to Continue to serve women in many different ways, such as owning a black women’s social club as well as a women’s retreat service!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Since I’ve started in 2017, it has been many struggles that have come along the way. I had to learn how to manage vast amount of people in a small amount of time. I could not have imagined that I would have been managing a Group of over 10,000 women along with managing a leadership team. I quickly learned that I could not manage such a large group of women alone so I had to learn how to delegate with certain positions.
But that was just the beginning of the struggles, and then had to learn how to create a business and learn how to run it. Coming from a background with no entrepreneurship knowledge or business knowledge it was very difficult to navigate the rights and the wrongs and the what to do and the who to go to for advice and information.
I was able to pick up a lot of good information through different business, mentors, and organizations that really made a difference in the way I work today.
It took a lot of failed attempts and a lot of hard work to get to the point I am at today. If you were to ask me, everyday is new struggle and a new challenge. These challenges make us stronger and better than before.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a life coach that specializes in confidence coaching. The true value in what I do is watching women evolve into their best selves. It brings me so much joy to watch women grow and step out of their comfort zones. I am the type to introduce you to the adventures of life and explore the world and possibilities.
I lead by example and allow my clients to experience what they want and need by helping them to achieve their goals.
What sets me apart is my will to create the overall experience for my clients. We keep things fun, active and productive! I make sure that each client and experience leaves them feeling happy and confident.
