Today we’d like to introduce you to Dayana Maso-Frelix.
Hi Dayana, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I graduated from esthetician school in 2017, but I really found my passion for waxing when I started working in a corporate setting in 2019. That experience helped me build my skills and confidence while working with a wide range of clients.
In 2023, I took a leap and opened my own business, True Beauty Skin Studio. Since then, I’ve been focused on creating a comfortable, high-quality experience for my clients while continuing to grow and refine my craft.
Consistency, dedication, and genuinely caring about my clients—that’s what got me to where I am today.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Not at all. There were moments of doubt, slow days, and learning how to manage everything on my own. But I stayed consistent, trusted my vision, and kept showing up—and that’s what helped me push through.

Everyone’s journey looks different, and it’s easy to get discouraged when you’re comparing your progress to someone else’s. Focus on your own growth, keep improving your craft, and trust that your time will come.
