Today we’d like to introduce you to Hannah Galeazzi
Hi Hannah, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved photography. I was always picking up disposable cameras from Walmart and taking photos of everything! In 2020, I had the crazy thought to buy a real camera and see where it would take me. I started by photographing my boys, and soon enough, people were messaging me to do their family photos. I officially started my business at the end of 2020, and now, almost five years later, I can’t believe how far I’ve come. I’ve been on so many adventures and had the privilege of documenting countless memories, all because I decided to try out a crazy dream.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Of course, there are always struggles when starting a business. The business side of things has definitely been challenging, but thankfully, I have people to help with that! Aside from a few struggles here and there, I’ve been pretty blessed with how well things have gone for me!
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I specialize in family, maternity, newborn, and of course, weddings! Maternity sessions have a special place in my heart, though. They’re just so meaningful to me!
What sets me apart is my relaxed, go-with-the-flow approach to sessions. With three kids of my own, I’ve seen it all—nothing fazes me anymore, haha. For family sessions, I take a child-led approach because, let’s be real, you can’t make a toddler do anything! When it comes to weddings, I prefer to let the day unfold naturally, capturing moments as they happen without interrupting too much.
We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
Going to the boundary waters with my family! We would go every year and it was such a special time. I look forward to bringing my kids there someday.
