Daily Inspiration: Meet Jay The Lightworker

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jay The Lightworker.

Jay The Lightworker

Hello Jay The Lightworker, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
As far as my story, I’ve been on a spiritual journey since I was a child. As I became older, I’ve taken life as an experiment to truly learn what it means for me to live and to understand my purpose. “Lightwork” is something I’ve felt intuitively guided to pursue.

As a Creative/Lightworker, just means I’m someone dedicated to making a difference for myself and the lives of others through the gifts I have musically, intuitively, spiritually, and emotionally. I hesitate to put myself in a box due to the mere fact that I evolve daily on a mental, emotional, and spiritual level. Through trial and error, as it relates to relationships, life experiences, and business endeavors, I’ve gathered much experience and awareness that I now use for myself and impart to others who are open to it.

I use my specific social media platforms (Instagram/Soundcloud) to communicate that awareness of our connection to one another and how we have more in common than we would imagine. I desire for us to tap into the collective consciousness which I believe is imperative for the world we live in. There will be more to come. As of today…stay tuned.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No. The road has been very hard. Some of the struggles in my life started as a child. I had an unusual fascination with death. The idea that we would be gone from this world and life keeps going would stir up so many emotions. I was an introverted kid until I went to college. I dealt with a divorce from the woman I thought I would be with for the rest of my life. This may sound crazy, but I was intuitively guided to separate from my ex-wife and my ex-wife was given guidance through her dreams that she would be okay once I leave.

She woke me up one morning and we had a heart-to-heart months before I decided to divorce her and go out alone. I knew I was still trying to find who I am and my purpose in life. I had this image of what I thought marriage looked like from the example of my parents and I had to face the hard truth that my life was shaped differently. Dating is hard enough as well. It’s fun too but as a person of depth, I feel and think about things deeper. How we relate to one another/hurt one another, trigger one another….these are topics I relate to and address as it comes to how we relate to one another as human beings.

I now find myself in a place looking after my Mother who has a minor case of Dementia with my Father. I evolve and learn when I’m placed in positions of discomfort. The emotions that I deal with/reminisce on give me the awareness to feel what I feel and what others may feel. I’m blessed enough to be able to use my words and music to communicate that.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a Drummer/Percussionist/Lightworker/Rapper/Singer/Astrologer. I specialize in playing drums/communicating on spiritual topics/ addressing Astrology Topics/ discussing Topics that address our relation to one another. I am most proud of my ability to bounce back.

What sets me apart from others? I’m Me. That’s it. You are you and I am me. That’s the beautiful part about Individuality. We bring beauty to this world if we are true to who we are. We need each other and we all have gifts.
