Daily Inspiration: Meet Naomi Danso

Today we’d like to introduce you to Naomi Danso.

Naomi Danso

Naomi, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Growing up, I enjoyed taking photos to capture moments and memories to look back on. I later realized that I loved being creative and I would have my siblings take pictures of me or set up my camera to take pictures and edit.

I also loved to document key events in my life and started vlogging shortly afterward. I spend hours researching how to edit photos and videos and even create flyers to attain the vision I want.

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road has not always been smooth. It’s been a learning journey.

I have an introverted personality type and am usually reserved so stepping out of my comfort zone and engaging with different clients was a little challenging to me at first. After a couple of photography sessions with close friends and family around me, I was able to find my balance.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a biomedical science graduate and work for a pharmaceutical company.

Photography is something I do in addition to my biopharma career because of the passion I have to be creative and engage with other clients and photographers.

Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting?
For those who are starting in photography or any career path, my one advice I have is to invest in yourself. Spend time learning and mastering your skills.

Always strive to be better than how you were in the previous year and learn from your mistakes. The journey isn’t always smooth, but it’s worthwhile!
