Daily Inspiration: Meet Payton Rademacher

Today we’d like to introduce you to Payton Rademacher.

Hi Payton, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?

As long as I can remember I have had a camera in my hand. I always take pictures every where I go, on vacations, road trips, and even at home.
In 2019, my old Canon camera broke and I experienced a few months with no camera in my hand. This made me realize how much I missed photography.
Not only that, over time several people suggested to me to set up my own photography business. I was hesitant to do so but with my mother, grandmother, and husband’s encouragement I got started and am happy to be where I am now.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It was not a smooth road for me. I started my business during the covid-19 pandemic’s first year. At that time I was not able to go on site and take pictures for clients because of social distance health and safety reasons. But with friends and family volunteering for me I was able to gain experience. It took about 1 and a half years to see growth in myself and my business.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I consider myself an artist. I graduated with a degree in Graphic Design which I feel helps me visualize my photography from different perspectives.

I’m a Lifestyle and Nature photographer from Minnesota. I love to capture the perfect picture with unique and rare moments that aren’t always spoken. I am a photographer because I grew up with a love for taking pictures. I wanted to capture each moment in time as it was happening without saying a word. A picture is left to the imagination and offers a memory that lasts forever.

I am Deaf and proud to offer my services not only to the hearing but also give easy communication access to the deaf community as they receive a high quality photoshoot.

Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
I am honored to be a part of this contest and magazine.
