Today we’d like to introduce you to Brooke Hawley.
Hi Brooke, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Brooke began her career at age 16, working her way up through several Pearle Vision locations around the Twin Cities, she’s maintained an insatiable passion for Optometry. She’s traveled the globe in search of all thing optical, spending her college years working with a Canadian Optical Group, then she was off to New York City to dabble on the PR side of things serving clients who were optical retailers, and finally back to Minnesota fist to work with the country’s largest optical laboratory as Marketing Manager, and then on to manage the Maple Grove Pearle Vision, the business that she and her family have owned since 2011.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Brooke leads the charge onsite and behind the scenes. She has been the driving force behind the success of the business, growing the store to become the largest volume Pearle Vision franchise, a status that she has maintained for 10+ years. Owning a business is never a smooth road but Brooke has worked to find the best team of managers, techs, receptionists, opticians and doctors to ensure that our patient experience is exceptional.

Our store carriers one of the most extensive lines of eyewear and sunglasses in the Twin Cities, Brooke has her finger on the pulse of brands and eyewear trends, which might be why her store has been voted ‘Best Eyewear Selection by numerous publications.
Her vision (pardon the pun) doesn’t stop there. She is on a mission to become the premier eyewear destination in Minnesota, and if the trajectory of her referral business is any indication on this, then she is well on her way.

Maple Grove has a welcoming atmosphere, frequent community events (like Maple Grove Days and Chalkfest), and family-friendly amenities. The city is an excellent place to raise children, with playgrounds, sports leagues, and a focus on safety. Maple Grove offers a high standard of living with access to good healthcare facilities (like Maple Grove Hospital), well-maintained infrastructure, and efficient public services. It balances the amenities of a larger city with a more suburban feel.
