Hi Deven, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Growing up my family was in the exotic animal business. We travelled the 5 state area setting up large petting zoos that featured animals such as wallabies, muntjac, zebu and many other unique animals. We also use to bring reindeer to the Mall of America during the holiday season. We even made an appearance on the discovery channel at one point, Animals have always been a part of our life. Now we are exclusive to reindeer and only bring them on displays for 6 to 8 weeks out of the year.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Yes, it has been a smooth road. Our extensive knowledge about animals in general and what their needs are has helped with that., We hold ourselves to a very high standard and take maintaining our State and Federal licensing seriously. Reindeer ownership is not for everyone as it requires a lot of time and a healthy monetary investment to ensure your facility meets your state’s requirements and to acquire your animals.
We’ve been impressed with DMDK Reindeer, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

This is the perfect opportunity for your guests to learn about reindeer and get their photo with one. Our primary service area is the Twin Cities and Greater Minnesota.
