Exploring Life & Business with Euron Nicholson of WellTyme

Today we’d like to introduce you to Euron Nicholson

Hi Euron, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My journey in the health and wellness industry has always been fueled by a deep passion for community engagement and the belief that everyone should have access to the resources they need for holistic well-being. With over 20 years of experience in corporate healthcare, strategic consulting, coaching, and public speaking, I’ve had the opportunity to impact countless lives and organizations. Currently, I serve as CEO of WellTyme Inc. and Chief Operating Officer of the Compassion Heals movement.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, I have always been driven by the desire to connect people with tools and resources that help them thrive. As an MBA and certified Life, Well-Being, and Business Coach, I founded WellTyme in 2018 as a “single-source” wellness hub to support health and wellness-focused businesses and the Communities they serve. Our vision, to create genuine, heart-led partnerships with healers, practices, and businesses striving to make a positive impact to the health and wellness of others, especially in a space where it’s often difficult to find aligned support. By bridging this gap, WellTyme helps leaders and healers bring their initiatives to life, fostering healthier and happier communities in the process. We are deeply committed to not only supporting health and wellness businesses but also empowering the communities they serve by providing wellness retreats, workshops, and community events designed to foster holistic well-being, education, and growth. By offering access to essential tools, resources, and experiences, we help individuals and groups forge their own unique paths to health and prosperity. Together, we’re building stronger, healthier communities, one event at a time.

In addition to my work with WellTyme, I’m deeply involved with the Compassion Heals movement, where we aim to restore the rapidly vanishing presence of the immense, scientifically-proven healing power of compassion to healthcare to better heal patients and the far too often suffering Healthcare Professionals who treat them. As COO, I help advance the movement’s mission, leading initiatives designed to return the vanishing presence of compassion back to healthcare. Whether through strategic leadership or engaging with diverse communities, my work with Compassion Heals reflects my commitment to promoting a more compassionate, patient-centered approach to healthcare and beyond. Together, we’re building a future where compassion becomes a vital part of not only healthcare but THE WORLD.

At the heart of everything I do is the mission, of “touching the souls of many through the hearts of a few.” This philosophy guides both WellTyme and Compassion Heals as we continue to inspire a global movement toward wellness, compassion, and community-driven health.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The journey to building WellTyme has been anything but smooth—like most startups, we’ve faced a fair share of challenges along the way. One of the biggest hurdles was the pandemic in 2020. Overnight, the world changed, and so did the needs of our clients. Wellness businesses that had relied on in-person interactions suddenly had to pivot to virtual models. Adapting WellTyme to continue supporting these businesses and their communities from afar was no small feat. We had to innovate quickly, developing new ways to deliver our services digitally, which was both a challenge and an opportunity to grow.

Another significant obstacle was funding. Like many startups, securing the resources necessary to fuel our vision wasn’t easy. We had to be strategic with our finances while finding creative ways to invest in the tools, platforms, and people that would allow WellTyme to thrive. Funding a startup in the wellness industry is particularly tricky, as it’s a space that requires trust and long-term relationships, which can take time to build.

Building a high-functioning team was another challenge. The people behind WellTyme are critical to our success, and finding individuals who not only had the right skills but were also aligned with our mission took time. We’ve worked hard to create a culture that fosters growth, collaboration, and a shared passion for community wellness.

In the early stages, we also encountered challenges with partners who didn’t fully align with WellTyme’s values. Navigating these relationships required clear communication and, in some cases, difficult decisions to part ways. Ensuring that everyone involved shares our core values of compassion, integrity, and a genuine commitment to wellness is crucial to maintaining the integrity of our mission.

As we’ve grown, expanding WellTyme to serve a broader range of wellness segments has also presented challenges. We started with a focus on specific wellness sectors, but as our reputation has grown, so has the demand from other areas of wellness—ranging from mental health practitioners to alternative healing and fitness. Scaling our services to meet these diverse needs while maintaining our personalized approach has been a balancing act.

In addition to these, some of the common struggles for businesses like ours include navigating changing regulations in the wellness space, staying ahead of evolving technology, and maintaining client relationships in a highly competitive market. Each challenge has pushed us to adapt, innovate, and stay true to our core mission: to empower wellness businesses and create thriving communities.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
What I love most about this city is its strong focus on health and wellness. The abundance of wellness-focused organizations, as well as social and community programs, creates an environment where people genuinely care about their well-being and the well-being of others. It’s inspiring to see so many initiatives and businesses that align with the values we champion at WellTyme.

I’m also a big fan of the city’s natural beauty. The lakes, parks, and nature reserves offer incredible opportunities for relaxation and outdoor activities, which are essential to maintaining both physical and mental wellness. Beyond that, the people here are some of the kindest and most compassionate I’ve encountered. There’s a sense of community and support that makes this place feel special. The city’s character shines through in its acceptance of diversity, which I think is key to fostering such a connected and thriving community.

If there’s one thing I like least, it would be the length of the winters. As someone who enjoys being outdoors, the long, cold months can be tough. But even then, the community’s warmth and resilience make it easier to get through!
