Today we’d like to introduce you to Kaitlan Wagner and Kellie Jorgenson.
Hi Kaitlan and Kellie, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Sync Health started because we were frustrated with how hard it was for people to get the kind of healthcare they deserved. Too many people were being told their labs were “normal” while they still felt exhausted, overwhelmed, or just not like themselves.
We wanted to create a place where people felt heard, where we could slow down, look at the full picture, and work together to find answers. What started as a passion for helping people understand their health turned into a clinic built around personalized care and genuine relationships.
Today, Sync Health is exactly what we hoped it would be. A place where people can get support, education, and a plan that fits their life. Watching patients regain their energy, confidence, and quality of life is what keeps us excited about this work every day.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, but I don’t think most worthwhile things are.
We’re both healthcare practitioners, not business majors. When we decided to start Sync Health, we were stepping into an entirely new world. We knew how to care for patients, but running a business, building systems, marketing, finances, and all the behind-the-scenes work was something we had to learn as we went.
Thankfully, we’ve had an incredible support system of family, friends, mentors, and fellow business owners who have helped guide us along the way. We’re still very new, having been open for almost three months: so we’re learning something new every day.
Through all the challenges, one thing has stayed constant: our passion for our patients. That’s always been at the core of why we started Sync Health. Whenever things feel overwhelming, we come back to our mission of helping people feel their best and providing care that is personal, accessible, and focused on the whole person.
The road has definitely been bumpy at times, but seeing the impact we’re already making in our patients’ lives reminds us why we took the leap in the first place.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about SYNC Health ?
At Sync Health, our goal is simple: to help people get their health back in sync.
The name “Sync” was chosen because it reflects what we see every day in healthcare. Many people come to us feeling like something is off they’re tired, struggling with weight, dealing with hormone imbalances, low energy, poor sleep, or simply not feeling like themselves. Our tagline, “Your Health in Perfect Sync,” represents our commitment to helping patients bring all the pieces of their health together so they can feel their best.
What sets us apart is our personalized approach. We take the time to listen, understand each patient’s story, and create care plans that fit their individual goals and lifestyle. We believe healthcare should be a partnership, not a one-size-fits-all experience.
As a provider-owned clinic, we’re proud to combine our clinical expertise with a genuine passion for helping people. We focus on building real relationships with our patients and creating an environment where they feel heard, supported, and empowered to take control of their health.
Brand-wise, what we’re most proud of is the trust we’re already building within our community. Even though we’re a new clinic, we’ve worked hard to create a welcoming space where patients know they matter. We want people to know that when they walk through our doors, they’re not just another appointment on the schedule they’re a person with unique needs, goals, and challenges.
At the end of the day, Sync Health is about more than treating symptoms. It’s about helping people create lasting improvements in their health, regain confidence in their bodies, and achieve what we like to call “Your Health in Perfect Sync.”
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
I don’t know that we would describe ourselves as natural risk-takers, but starting Sync Health was definitely the biggest risk we’ve ever taken.
We both had stable careers in traditional healthcare, and on paper it probably would have been easier to stay where we were. But over time, we found ourselves wanting to practice medicine differently. We wanted more time with patients, more flexibility in how we delivered care, and the ability to focus on prevention and wellness not just managing problems after they happen.
Starting our own clinic meant stepping away from the security of established healthcare systems and into something completely unknown. We had never owned or run a business before, and there were plenty of moments when it felt intimidating. But we believed strongly in what we were building and in the type of care we wanted to provide.
Our perspective on risk is that sometimes the biggest risk is staying where you are when you know something needs to change. For us, the risk wasn’t just opening a business, it was choosing to leave a system that no longer aligned with how we wanted to care for patients.
We’re only a few months into this journey, but every time a patient tells us they finally feel heard, understood, or hopeful again, it reinforces that taking the leap was the right decision. Looking back, it was a risk worth taking because it allowed us to create something that reflects our values and puts patients at the center of everything we do.
