Hi Kayla, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey with my business started with a passion for creativity and solving problems. For years, I have loved art, design, and solving challenges. Over time, I developed this passion into wanting to help others make a strong impression – whether through visuals or behind-the-scenes support. While balancing my full-time job, college classes for my AAS degree in Business Management, and raising two toddler boys, I launched Mosaic Solutions LLC to offer creative design and business support services to individuals and small businesses. What began as a side project quickly became a meaningful way to use my skills to help others. Today, I am focused on growing my brand while continuing to learn and evolve as a creative business professional, and I hope to be able to focus on my small business full-time eventually.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t been a smooth road, especially trying to grow a business while working full-time, raising kids, and attending college. One of the biggest challenges has been finding time and energy to stay consistent – whether it’s marketing, client work, or continuing to build my skills. There have been late nights, missed opportunities, and moments of burnout. But those experiences taught me how to prioritize, set boundaries, and stay focused on the long game. It’s helped me build not just a business but a strong foundation for sustainable growth.
We’ve been impressed with Mosaic Solutions LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Mosaic Solutions LLC is a one-woman business offering creative design and business support services to individuals and small businesses. I offer flyer design, social media graphics, brochures, administrative help such as social media management, and so much more. What sets Mosaic apart is the personalized touch – I work closely with each client to bring their ideas to life in a way that’s both professional and approachable. I understand the juggling act many entrepreneurs face because I’m living it, too, and that makes my work more personal and intentional. I’m most proud of how far I have come while building this business alongside work, college, and motherhood. My goal is to provide services that not only look good but make life easier for other hardworking individuals and business owners.
