Today we’d like to introduce you to Leanne Reichhoff.
Leanne, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
In 2013, I was a mama to two babies and looking for something to fill my cup while navigating the challenges of early motherhood. There was a small town in Wisconsin—about 100 people—with a wonderful Italian-American restaurant whose website was truly terrible. At the time, I had a blog on Wix, so I decided to try building them a new website and see if they liked it. I took photos of their food, finished the site, and they paid me $250.
Someone who worked there was also a manager at a steel plant and asked if I could build a website for them too—so I did, for $2,000 (and that one is still live). After about five websites, I realized it was time to actually learn what I was doing—design, SEO, process, development, copywriting, and more.
Before I knew it, the business was growing. I brought on a few freelancers to form a small team, all while having two more kids, moving to New Jersey, and homeschooling. In 2018, when my family moved to Minnesota, we were still homeschooling—twelve years total—and I decided to focus more intentionally on local businesses.
The team continued to grow, projects and clients got bigger, and in 2022 I brought on two business partners to help me lead the business. That’s also when we renamed Lucid & Luxe to Re3 Creative. Outside of starting the business in the first place, it was the best decision I’ve made.
Since then, we’ve been flourishing—both in depth and breadth. Today, we’re a team of 16, with everyone except two based here in Minnesota (the other two are in Ohio). We love gathering people—clients, colleagues, and community—through our quarterly Meet + Mingles.
One thing we’re especially excited about, and currently in the trademark process, is The Blind Brand™. It’s a strategy-led brand process built on trust, clarity, and decisive execution. It begins with deep foundational work—clarifying identity, positioning, audience, messaging, and direction. That foundation is agreed on and locked. From there, the creative phase moves forward without ongoing reviews, revisions, or checkpoints.
The brand is designed and built in full, then revealed all at once.
We’re excited for the year ahead and the meaningful projects and clients to come.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I mean, homeschooling four kids close in age while having a husband who worked long hours, weekends, and holidays was incredibly hard. My family is in Canada, and my husband’s family was more than five hours away, so I was alone a lot of the time. From the beginning, work has brought me joy. It surfaced gifts I didn’t know I had and provided for my family—enough to send all four kids to private school 🙂
Business is hard. Doing business on your own is even harder. Every decision you make is either helpful or harmful, and the weight of that—especially when other people depend on you—can feel heavy. Even when it was just me or a very small team, I did too much, worked too much, and was consumed by it 24/7. My family felt it. My friends felt it. I fought with everything in me to get to the other side.
Bringing on two business partners in 2022 was the best decision—and also a hard one. Trusting others to take on work I had always handled challenged my pride and my need for control. Letting go and delegating nearly everything I once did has been life-giving, and it’s opened the door for me to focus on the parts of the work I’m truly best at.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
Re3 Creative is a strategy-led brand and marketing firm that partners with established companies ready for clarity, alignment, and long-term direction.
The work at Re3 begins before design, marketing, or execution. The firm specializes in helping leadership teams (re)define their position, power, and presence—clarifying who they are, how they compete, and how they show up across brand, website, marketing, and experience. This foundational thinking ensures everything built afterward is intentional, cohesive, and effective.
Re3 is known for its disciplined approach to strategy and its highly relational way of working. The team invests deeply in understanding not just the business, but the people behind it—building trust, shared language, and strong working relationships that allow for honest conversations and better decisions. This approach is formalized through the Business Growth Blueprint™, a proprietary framework designed to establish clarity and alignment before any execution begins. The Business Growth Blueprint™ removes guesswork, simplifies decision-making, and gives teams a shared understanding of what matters most.
What sets Re3 apart is its emphasis on sequence, integrity, and partnership. Brand, website, and marketing are not treated as separate projects or quick fixes, but as expressions of a clear strategy. One example of this philosophy is The Blind Brand™ process, where strategy is fully aligned upfront and creative is delivered as a cohesive whole—without dilution or compromise.
Brand-wise, Re3 is most proud of the trust it earns and the relationships it builds. Clients often come to the firm after working with multiple partners and feeling more fragmented than before. Re3 is frequently brought in during moments of growth, transition, or tension, serving as a steady, invested partner rather than a transactional vendor.
Founded by Leanne, Re3 Creative operates with a hands-on, high-touch approach and a high standard for excellence, ensuring every decision, message, and action works with intention.
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
Clarity. Not just as an outcome, but as a discipline. The ability to slow things down, see the whole system, ask the right questions, and create shared understanding before moving forward. Clarity allows better decisions, stronger relationships, and work that actually lasts—and it’s what everything else builds on.
Trust. Trust allows real conversations to happen, creates space for better thinking, and makes meaningful partnerships possible. Without it, strategy stays surface-level. With it, clarity deepens, decisions get stronger, and the work moves forward with confidence.
