Hidden Gems: Meet Britni Abell of Abella Aesthetics

Today we’d like to introduce you to Britni Abell.

Britni, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Starting a business with my twin sister Kendall wasn’t just an idea — it felt like destiny. We’ve done everything side by side since the womb (literally), so creating something meaningful together was almost inevitable. From childhood dreams to grown-up goals, we’ve always shared a deep understanding of each other’s strengths, weaknesses, and quirks. That kind of bond makes for the ultimate business partnership.

The idea for Abella Aesthetics came from a blend of passion, purpose, and late-night conversations about creating a space that felt different — elevated, empowering, and rooted in real results. With my background in business finance and Kendall’s in aesthetic medicine, we realized we had something really special when we combined forces. She knew beauty, I knew business — the rest was a beautiful, chaotic dream in the making.

We also knew we wanted to lead by example — especially for our eight kids between the two of us. We wanted to show them that chasing big dreams isn’t just for Pinterest quotes — it’s possible with hard work, late nights, and a little bit of mascara smudged from crying and grinding at the same time. Through every high and low, we’ve had each other’s backs — and that sisterhood is the heart of Abella.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road — more like a winding, uphill climb with plenty of detours along the way. Both Kendall and I went through divorces and found ourselves navigating life as single moms, each raising four kids while trying to build a business from the ground up. We were juggling school pickups, homework, and bedtime routines in between answering client emails and ordering supplies — often with barely enough money to get by. There were nights we cried from exhaustion, wondering how we’d make it all work, but we kept showing up — for our kids, for ourselves, and for this dream. On top of it all, we were doing the hard, necessary work of healing from past trauma — learning to trust again, believe again, and lead from a place of strength. The road has been anything but easy, but every obstacle has shaped us into the women and business owners we are today.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
