Hi Hannah, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
As a young adult studying business at the University of Minnesota, I was a hormonal mess — dealing with fatigue, acne, and brain fog — and I felt an overwhelming lack of direction. After trying every supplement in hopes of finding relief, I finally booked an acupuncture appointment. After that very first treatment, I experienced a sense of calm and curiosity that felt completely foreign but deeply right. I started reading everything I could about acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine — and the rest was history.
I graduated as quickly as I could and went straight into acupuncture graduate school. During those four years, the idea of opening my own practice — one focused on women’s health and fertility — kept growing stronger. With a leap of faith, and the support of my business background, my husband, and my brother, I decided to make that vision a reality and open my own practice right outside of Minneapolis.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The “why” behind Yinergy was always clear — I’ve wholeheartedly believed in its mission from the very beginning. Still, the road wasn’t without its challenges. There were plenty of character-building moments along the way. I was doing everything for the first time: practicing on my own, building a patient base, negotiating leases, and figuring out all the ins and outs of running a business.
Over time, my vision for Yinergy became sharper, and today it feels like a self-sustaining practice — one that continues to inspire me every day. In our fast-paced modern world, so many people, especially women, are chronically overstimulated and undernourished. It’s been an honor to walk alongside women navigating burnout and hormonal dysregulation, helping them reconnect with themselves and awaken their body’s natural healing systems. Seeing a positive pregnancy test is just the cherry on top.

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
My fascination with pregnancy, birth, and fertility began when I was 14, during my mom’s pregnancy and the birth of my younger brother. I followed every step of her journey closely—and I even watched him come into the world, an experience most young teens don’t have in today’s world. I was completely captivated by the process from conception to postpartum. At the time, I had no idea I’d one day work with so many pregnant women, but in hindsight, it makes perfect sense. This passion has always lived naturally within me, and blending it with my undergraduate degree in business feels like the most authentic path I could have taken.
