Hi Jack, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
This story isn’t really about ME, it’s about Restore Hyper Wellness Woodbury. So I’m going to write about the business’s story.
Restore Hyper Wellness Woodbury opened in 2019. We were the very first Restore Hyper Wellness in Minnesota and the 24th studio nationwide, and now there are 5 locations in Minnesota and around 230 nationwide. Shortly after opening, COVID happened, and that was rough but we were just barely able to scrape by and persevere. And while COVID was a tragedy, one silver lining is that it caused people more aware of their own health and inspired many to seek out ways to improve it.
Especially over the last 2-3 years, our business has skyrocketed. We’ve grown to nearly 600 active monthly members and regularly provide 50-100 services daily to our clients. They invest in their health here with our great variety of services and science-backed holistic wellness modalities, including IV Drip Therapy, NAD+ and Niagen Therapy, Red Light Therapy, Whole Body Cryotherapy, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, Facials, just to name a few. We help people boost their immunity, increase their energy, manage their pain, improve their sleep, decrease inflammation and oxidative stress, and much much more!
The variety of services we offer all under one roof, and the incredible value our memberships provide set us apart from our competitors. But the thing that helps us to really stand out is our focus on customer service. We don’t just rely on our services to make people feel better. We all want to play a role in personally making out clients feel the best they can as they walk out the door through our remarkable kindness and exemplary customer service, something we feel is greatly lacking in today’s society. This collective effort to provide the best service possible has been reflected in our Google reviews. We are very proud to say that, at this time, we’re the only business in Woodbury with over 700 reviews and a perfect 5 star rating.
Our clientele ranges from extreme “biohackers” aiming to increase longevity and extend their lifespan, to student athletes and NFL players who want to perform at their highest level, to parents who need help keeping up with their rowdy kiddos, to business people who need help bouncing back after an exhausted work trip. Whether it be helping someone heal from a minor injury or helping to completely turn someone’s life around, we are always ready and eager to do the best we can to positively impact every person who walks through our doors.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I mentioned in the previous question that COVID was a big obstacle that prevented us from getting off the ground sooner. In addition, there were other learning curves that took us a while to identify and overcome so that we could finally catch our stride – including staffing issues and Restore trying to find its true identity in the wellness space. For example, when we first opened, the focus was more so on Core Services (Cryotherapy, Red Light Therapy, etc) but now, Medical Services (IV Drips, Intramuscular shots, etc) are our #1 department, so they’ve become a lot more of a focus.
We’ve been impressed with Restore Hyper Wellness Woodbury, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My name is Jack Bryan and by the time this article goes out, I will be the General Manager of Restore Hyper Wellness in Woodbury. Our current General Manager, Tyler Verding, will be promoted to Regional Manager as we’re expanding from 2 to 4 locations (Woodbury, Apple Valley, Minnetonka, and Maple Grove).
Our slogan is “DO MORE.” Why? Well, it’s because we help people to invest in their health so they they can feel better and DO MORE of what they love. I always tell people, you can invest your money and grow your net worth, but what’s the point of having all that money if you feel like garbage and aren’t able to enjoy your life. Health is wealth.

Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
Honestly, coming into Restore to do services is a great way to meet people and network. The way our seating is laid out, it’s really easy to talk others around you and make connections. For example, a business owner came in to do cryotherapy and we were talking about management and leadership styles, and he mentioned a book that he read that he feels is the key to his success. And now, he and I and a couple others are in a book group together that meets here in the studio after hours!
Other than that, I don’t really have much advice. I guess I would say – Don’t be afraid to introduce yourself to others and start a conversation. Sure, some conversations are very standard automatic small talk and don’t amount to anything substantial, but others can be very informative, interesting, and/or full of opportunity. You’ll never know if you don’t try!
Also, find ways that YOU can add value to the people further along than you. It gives them a reason to want to mentor you. Don’t expect charity from people – you wont get a mentor just by asking for one. You need to be focused on giving, and giving without expectation of anything in return. Obviously, you’ll have to keep your eye out for individuals who want to string you along and take advantage of that selflessness, but hopefully you find someone that recognizes the value you provide and rewards you for it.
