Hidden Gems: Meet Jennie Beaudoin of Bold North Marketing

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennie Beaudoin.

Hi Jennie , thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey with Bold North Marketing started with helping out a few close friends who wanted to make an impact for their new business ventures but didn’t know where to start or have budget availability to hire an agency or marketing staff. I’m very passionate about helping others and how I can make a positive impact. This scenario of “helping businesses” IS helping people and something I could really “do the good for the good”. People put their lives into their passion and purpose through creating organizations and businesses that pushes them to start something great and take a risk. My passion for people combined with my vision for creating meaningful, impactful business solutions that truly resonate with businesses and their audiences – Bold North Marketing was born! I have a background in digital marketing and a deep passion for helping brands grow with data-driven strategies. I absolutely love empowering businesses to make their mark in an ever-evolving digital landscape, and quickly become an integral part of their success stories and continue to thrive!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I am a hyper-organizer 🙂 I love efficiency and making things happen! This is a strength but also I need to be mindful my high energy level can be overwhelming for some. Focusing on what matters most to the brands and the clients they impact is key in making sure we stay on task and can rally around results that give great traction. Another thing that was “scary” for me is I am a mother to two beautiful girls and a wife – also a chicken wrangler (yep one of those crazy chicken ladies you see on your Instagram lol). I love the outdoors and hobby farming, gardening, canning, and cherishing nature and the outdoors overall. That being said, I had (and have) a lot of things going on to manage personally so a professional jump to start a business was scary – but it was oh so worth it!

We’ve been impressed with Bold North Marketing, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Bold North Marketing is a people-focused digital marketing agency that helps businesses get noticed and grow through customized, results-driven strategies.

What started out as helping out a friend, Bold North Marketing grew into a full service marketing partner. Our philosophy is “people helping people” and believe that behind every business are people, and that’s who we serve.

I emphasize transparency, collaboration, and measurable outcomes (ROI) over fluff. Marketing is like the sizzle of your steak but we make sure that everything put into it all is cohesive and meets, if not exceeds the mark!
Customization is a big part and adapting services based on each client’s goals.
We focus on measurable results: helping clients see real return on investment (ROI) rather than just doing tasks and believe in being BOLD and fully invested into the clients success!

We offer a broad range of marketing services, tailored to fit each client’s unique goals.

-Web Development – building websites that get clients noticed and work well from start to finish.

-Brand Strategy – defining identity, voice, positioning to help businesses stand out.

-SEO & Analytics – making sure businesses are visible online, and tracking effectiveness.

-Digital Advertising – ad campaigns designed to work within budgets, done transparently.

-Social Media Management – leveraging social channels to build presence and engagement.

-Email Marketing – strategies and workflows for staying in touch with customers.

-Graphic Design – visually compelling materials that align with brand and messaging.

-Video & Photo – professional photography and videography are key elements to leverage in all marketing campaigns and initiatives.

-Project Management & Consulting – ensuring work is delivered on time, within scope and quality expectations.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
Some lessons I’ve learned over my 15+ years in working with client relationships and marketing are:

Results matter more than buzzwords. Clients are real people so don’t overwhelm with flashy jargon — show them want to see growth, leads, and ROI. Clear reporting and transparency build trust faster than big promises.

Every client is different. A strategy that works great for one business may flop for another. Listening, asking the right questions, and tailoring approaches are essential.

Managing expectations is critical. Traction can take time, but many expect instant results. Setting realistic timelines and milestones avoids frustration.

Communication is as important as execution. A well-run strategy and outline of deliverables can still feel like a failure if clients aren’t updated and kept in the loop.

Agility is Key! Algorithms, platforms, and tools change constantly – which is exciting but also challenging for clients to do on their own without a team for support. Staying adaptable and open to learning keeps our efforts effective.

Boundaries and respect prevent burnout. Agencies move fast, and client demands can pile up. Learning to prioritize, delegate, and say “no” when necessary keeps things sustainable. It’s a team effort and it’s imperative to respect everyone’s situation and play off of our skills to create the best results we can for clients.
