Hi Katlin, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
If I had looked back on myself 2 years ago, I never would have thought I’d be running a graphic design company. My true inspiration has been my boyfriend and my mom. My mom moved to Florida to follow her dream of opening a shake shop, and I designed her logo, business cards, and branding. My mom was emotionless when her business came together, and seeing my designs in real life, not just digitally, was eye-opening. I realized that I wanted to bring this happiness to other business owners. My boyfriend has also been pursuing his graphic design degree and has pushed and supported me throughout my journey. He was along my side during the learning process, and he was the one who opened my eyes to graphic design. Ucreate Graphic Design LLC turned 1 year old this month in July, and I’m ready to celebrate this accomplishment!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Of course, as a small business owner, you face many challenges across the way, but with the support of family and friends, it has been such an amazing journey!
