Hidden Gems: Meet Kisha Triplett of Internal Beauties Body Contouring & Wellness

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kisha Triplett.

Hi Kisha, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I start about 5 years ago being a distributor for a brand that helped client detox their bodies and lose weight. I was in that business about 2 years and had built an amazing rapport with my customers. During one of our yearly conferences another distributor told me that she had start a non-invasive body contouring business in Florida and that I should connect with her mentor. I connected with Sabrina Lee of Herway Beauty and they introduced me to everything that I needed to start my own business. I have received multiple trainings and even became a Certified Phlebotomist CPT. I have now been in business for non-invasive body sculping for 4 years and I absolutely enjoy making people find their inner beauty. One of my biggest goals is to help people leave different then when they came in to see me.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I have had some challenges as I run my business part time while working to full-time leadership roles. Technology is always advancing and you find yourself needing to make sure that you stay up on the latest technology to keep people intrigued about coming to your business. I ran my business for 3 years from my home office. Last year in July 2024 my father suddenly passed away, leaving my 3 youngest siblings, so my being the oldest child took all 3 of his children in to live with me which caused me to have to move my spa from home office, this was a huge obstacle because now I had to worry about overhead when I never had to before. I was able to find an amazing location in Brooklyn Center that is a central location for most of my clients and they enjoy the space and are ALOT.

Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
I grew up in a close-knit community where Sunday dinners, front porch talks, and neighborhood block parties were part of everyday life. Raised by strong, nurturing women, I learned early on the value of inner strength, faith, and family.

As a child, I was known for my curious mind and big heart. I was the one organizing backyard “salons” with her cousins, pretending to be a stylist and life coach all in one—listening to everyone’s stories while brushing their hair or offering affirmations. I was especially drawn to stories of women who overcame adversity, which planted the seeds for my passion to one day inspire others to rise above their circumstances and embrace their internal beauty. At the age of 14 my best friend since the 3rd grade became pregnant. I was asked to be the godmother, not even know what that was I took on the role. My 1st son is now 30 years old and he was a huge part of my favorite childhood memory because everything that I experienced from 14 through now, he has been a part of.

My childhood wasn’t perfect—I faced challenges that required me to grow up quickly—but those experiences shaped me into a compassionate, wise, and resilient woman. They became the foundation of her purpose: to help others find healing, wholeness, and power in their own stories.

When I speaks about her journey or shares my brand’s message, I often reflects on those early days—those porch talks, kitchen lessons, and childhood dreams—as this what sparked and ignited Internal Beauties.
